Rustic Escape on Lake Hartwell - Pet Friendly, Kayaks and Paddleboards Provided!

Come escape the busyness of every day life at our cozy lake house. Comfortably sleeps 11, making it perfect for the whole family/friend group. Take a stroll down the private path to the water or launch your boat from the public ramp at the end of the driveway. Plenty of parking available for your boat trailer & cars for the whole crew. Easy access, just 5 minutes off the highway - 30 minutes from Clemson, 50 minutes from Greenville, and under 2 hours to Atlanta. All dogs/cats welcome!

Please note: we do not have our own dock access, but there is a public boat ramp at the end of the road. We do own down to the water, which you can access through a private back directly out the back door. The path leads to a quiet cove, perfect for swimming, fishing, or kayaking/paddleboarding. We have two kayaks and one paddle board we provide for guest access!

Great house!

Great house with lots of space for our big family group. Great communication from the owner. Very clean inside but deck/outdoor area had spider webs that we dodged, and not as clean. However, still a great space with ceiling fans that we enjoyed each evening! Also, wished we had better lake access, but enjoyed the beach area to fish and a neighbor allowed us on his private dock! Overall a great trip and we would book again! Thank you!

An Easy Lakeside Getaway

A short walk from Lake Hartwell, this comfortable Upstate, South Carolina home offers a peaceful, quiet, and private retreat, but is close enough to I-85, Anderson, and Clemson if you need groceries, Starbuck's, or want to see the Tigers play. Although there's central heating and AC, the gas fireplace in the living room does a great job warming the entire place on a cool fall day. The upstairs loft is especially cozy. We visited just as a couple. But the home is spacious enough to accommodate a larger family or group of friends and has a pet-friendly policy. Keyless check-in worked flawlessly and the streamlined checkout instructions made for an easy and stress-free departure. For comfort and relaxation, this location is a great value. We hope to return soon!

Amazing place to stay

This house was absolutely perfect for a group of friends and I. We had 4 trucks with boat trailers and still had parking space to spare. Great place to stay for a fishing trip or just a weekend getaway.

This was a Beautiful get away. The weather was not the best for our stay but we still enjoyed it.

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin is huge and provides everything. It is a difficult walk to the lake, even for 20 year olds. My only complaint is they need new towels, otherwise everything else was great!

Wonderful vrbo

The house is a beautiful wooden house inside! The walk to the lake isn’t easy for elderly like ourselves. My only suggestion would be to get some new towels. Enjoyed our stay and it would be great for a large family!

We really enjoyed our stay here for the weekend We rented the house so we could attend my daughter’s graduation from Anderson. House was very clean and we enjoyed our stay. Only complaint was we thought the house was on the lake and had a dock. However the lake access is from a public landing rather than an individual dock.
