Cheerful cottage on a lake, Covered Dock, 3BD, 2BA

Fully renovated lakeside cottage, deep water, with all new furniture and appliances. Ultra fast Wifi internet for working remotely or streaming . Relax in a tucked away, serene location yet close to interstate 85. Short easy walk to covered, one slip dock. Two kayaks. Four deck chairs, no stairs to climb. Only 5 min by boat to Tugaloo state park, 30 min to “shores of Asbury water park, 35 min to Clemson, 90 min from Atlanta, 1h to Greenville, 25 min to Seneca with lots of restaurants and shops. The cottage is comfortable with 3 bd and 2ba and a perfect place to enjoy floating, swimming, golfing, fishing, hiking, or watch a game.

Bring your boat (landing at Arrington Dr) or rent from Harbor Lights Marina 15 min away. Public boat ramp is 1/2 m on Arrington Dr. Also one at Tugaloo state park. Cottage has 1 king, 1 queen and 1 set of bunk beds for children . Working remotely? No problem high speed fiber is available. Smart TV with a capacity to have a fire stick to stream

The house has three bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king bed with the view of the lake. Second bedroom has a queen set, the third bedroom has one twin kids bunk bed. There is two bathrooms, one has a bath tub. Kitchen is fully equipped with brand new stainless appliances.

There is a grill on the deck - cookout with beautiful view of the lake. Bed linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and other amenities provided.

Great pizza place, Spotted Pig BBQ, peace of pie Pizza and new craft brewery 8 min away. Dollar General 7 min away

No smoking. Absolutely no pets. If you are not compliant you will loose your deposit

Boat landing: There is one in port bass on Arrington dr, and one at Tugaloo state park on Highway 11, 1 mile to interstate 85.

You can rent a boat at C&E marine, landing at Tugaloo, 3 min by boat, or lift harbor marina (10 min by boat)

A Memorable Memorial Day Weekend

Quiet and peaceful getaway. We spent most every day on the dock fishing or just relaxing. The bed was comfortable. Thw house was clean. I would stay here again.

Amazing Weekend Getaway

Very impressed with the property and the folks who hosted. We had booked this property after another trip fell through and we were glad it did. I highly recommend staying at this property if youre looking for privacy, upgraded amenities, relaxation, and access to some of the best fishing in the southeast.

A Relaxing Vacation

We liked the location on the lake as it was away from the boat traffic, yet close to kayak to Poplar Springs park, and a nearby island. The house had everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the deck, and viewing the lake from the bedroom and living room.

Updated Legacy Lakehouse

Older house in an obviously older development on the lake. That said, the house has been nicely updated. It was clean, well outfitted, and everything worked. Quiet neighborhood and excellent access to a deep cove. The road in is interesting, but not bad. We had a good time and would certainly go back.

Great time over the 4th

My family and I had a great time over the 4th of July. The house was just as advertised. We had some issues with the HVAC, but Ellie worked with us to get everything back working as it should the next day.

Sister's Weekend

This is the second time we have rented this property and it couldn't have been more than perfect for our needs. The main beds are super comfortable! The location is convenient to a boat rental facility and some cute restaurants. We love Peace of Pie for pizza 🍕! The kayaks were a nice addition this year! Wonderful getaway!

It was a lovely cottage on the lake. We loved opening blinds at night and watching the deer. Just be prepared to drive 15 minutes to grocery store but it’s well worth it. We will definitely be back. Only thing I would do that would make better is if there was a rake or small blower to get leaves off deck and clear path to dock. It can get slippery.

Peach Bowl and hiking trip!

We were searching for something that was partially between Atlanta and Tallulah Gorge State Park. This location was the perfect fit. Secluded, yet close to our destinations and many eateries. The property was extremely comfortable and very clean. This property offered everything we needed to make our short trip feel just like home. The lake views were absolutely stunning, even during our winter stay. Would highly recommend this property. The host was very punctual with communications. Thank you for sharing your lake house with us!

Clean cabin on the lake.

We stayed here, not for vacation, but to be close to a family member in hospice. Weather was a challenge and the power was out for one night. Since the house is on well, that meant no water. Thankfully it was a short outage. The house is very clean and right on the lake with a dock which we did not take advantage of. The location servered our purpose for this trip.

Week at the lake

Nice little home, older but kept up. Neighborhood is very mixed but that’s common around Lake Hartwell. Had some really rough neighbors for 2 nights. Easy walk to the lake (it is a trail over roots, no pathway but not bad). Dock was a little disappointing, pretty rough shape and we had two family members get cuts from the rust metal that is broken and hanging from the dock so be careful with kids around it. Location on the lake is great and view is very nice. Peaceful spot without too much boat traffic. Host was great and responded quickly to all my messages. Overall a great trip and nice place to stay. We will be back.

Great house in the woods

This house was great, clean and well stocked. The location on the lake was right inside a cove so the water was fresh/clean but there was little to no boat traffic. The location was down a long windy road and set in the woods but you could still see the lake while sitting in the living room looking out through 4 large windows. The host was quick to respond when needed. Of note, the 3rd bedroom is within/behind the 2nd bedroom (with a proper door but you must walk through the bedroom to get to it). It was perfect for our two kids under 10yrs old to share the small bunks but might have been too small for two adults to use. We would stay at this house again!

Just What We Needed

This property was perfect for our quick family get-a-way! We only wish we could have stayed longer! We enjoyed coffee off of the deck and admired the lake view. We enjoyed fishing off of the dock which was a short walk from the home. We caught several bream and other fish and threw them back. Our 11 year old son really enjoyed that part of the trip! A couple of us went to the Clemson game which was a perfect 30-35 minute drive (back roads with very little traffic) There are a few great family-owned restaurants close-by, as well. We did cook breakfast one morning and the kitchen had everything we needed. If you are looking for a quite place to get away, this is it! We definitely want to stay at this cute place again when we want to go to a Clemson game or just relax for a few days in the future!

House had everything you need for a wonderful stay. Walk down to the water wasn't as steep as some places on the lake, but not concrete. Owner was extremely responsive - and pleasant to work with. ENJOYED the 9 days!

Lovely time at Cheerful cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the dock and the view to the open water of Lake Hartwell, and the home itself was very nice, plenty of room and comfortable. Would certainly recommend it for others' enjoyment!

Comfy cottage on a Lake

We had a spectacular time staying in this cottage. Nicely decorated and ultra clean. The host is spectacular. Just “siitin’ on the dock of the lake”was just what we needed.
