"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, even if it was only for one night! It is only a 7ish minute walk from the train station, which is very convenient. The staff was so lovely and kind, and the room itself was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The bathroom was spacious and very nicely designed. We weren't there while it was open, but we did go all the way upstairs to check out the beautiful view from the bar/lounge at the top (don't miss it!). They were kind enough to hold our luggage for us for a few hours as well so we could enjoy the town before our train left."

Either offer a good free dinner or don't offer at all so guests can plan accordingly. Nevertheless, I would stay here again."

"We loved, loved, loved this property. It is really close to the train station. It is an old building, with lots of charm, but well maintained and brought to modern standards. The staff were amazing, and are very proud of their little hotel and its history. If we are ever in Lillehammer again we would definitely make this our home base."

The chef made sure we had a suitable vegetarian starter and main course. Although we only spent one night on our way elsewhere we were very impressed with the staff, food and amenities."
