"The property was good, upside down property, set in a lovely harbour town. Locals friendly. Amazing ice cream shop. The attached fish and chip shop was very busy too. Parking was roadside, not guaranteed, opposite the property. We arrived at the end of the Herring Queen Festival, which was packed out. We struggled to even unload, but obviously that wasn't something we knew about prior to booking. After that had finished, parking wasn't really a problem. A few niggles with property but it didn't...
"We had a lovely time. The whole staff, starting with Sue, who checked us in, were brilliant, the breakfast outstanding, the room clean, the view of the river and opposite shore outstanding. We plan to return."
"I liked that it was with in walking distance of the place I wanted to visit the staff were friendly and helpful meals Hughes to much for me. Thank you for a lovely stay ."

"The staff, very polite and helpful. Serice in the dinning area for breakfast and evening meal excellent. Checking in and out very easy. Overall we had a lovely relaxing few days at the hotel and would recommend to anyone. "
"Parking was easy as was the check-in. Very welcoming. Room was very clean and had everything we required for 1 night stay. Was late arriving and early leaving so did not get a chance to try the restaurant. Was very quiet for been so close to a road so had a very peaceful and relaxing sleep. I would return again."
"A lovely little stay at a nice property. Breakfast was very much appreciated. There is no washer/dryer facilities for laundry at this property, only washing drying of scuba suits."
"Fantastic breakfast, ( try the porridge) the host was a hoot rooms were spotless beautiful building, only 1 gripe needs aids to get in and out of bath/shower, as I suffer from back problems.overall I give it 10/10.fantastic.

Stable Cottage - spacious one level cottage with private courtyard.
10/10 Excellent
"Stable cottage is in a beautiful location a few miles from Berwick upon Tweed and the other attractions of the Scottish Borders and North East England. It is warm cosy and well equipped and so peaceful. A car is a must if you are staying here. We had a last minute problem with dates and Liz was so helpful is changing them for us. I would recommend this cottage and will definitely revisit. "
"Everything really good - except maybe our room could have been bigger but bathroom facilties very good and extra bonus of TWO working EV chargers for overnight charging."
