SANDY HILL SUNSETS

We have just finished constructing a tiny house to rent to people looking for a secluded, fun and exciting place to vacation! You have everything you will ever need and if we do not have it, we will do whatever we need to make sure you do!

You walk into a kitchenette that has everything you need to make dinner or simply stick a little something in the microwave to heat up. There is a convection oven/grill.and toaster all in one! There is also a grill on site for you to use!

The main thought is to come ready to relax and have fun! eat, drink and be merry!

Beautiful and Quiet

Perfect if you are looking for a quiet vacation away from everything. The beach was beautiful and private. The house is small as advertised, but big enough for a small family. It does have all the basics, but I would not plan on cooking there. Multiple restaurants about 20 minutes away and if you are willing to drive further, Cape Charles is about 40 minutes and has restaurants and shops. Christi was very nice and hospitable, great with kids.

Awesome Vacay

We had an excellent Fourth of July celebration week because of The Medici’s and their rental. Lots of amenities to keeps us busy on and off beach and the fireworks were fantastic! Thank you so much Christi and Rick!

Awesome intimate family time!

Great trip

We had a great time at Sandy Hill Sunsets! The tiny house was just enough space for our family of four. The beach was awesome and the water was calm and shallow; perfect for our five and seven year old! Amazing sunsets. Christi, the host, could not have been more helpful. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

Perfect Weekend

Christi was so welcoming and accommodating. The tiny home was right by the beach with an amazing view from the bay window. Plenty of water toys to choose from and the water was so clean. Having a fire right on the beach while watching the sunset was the highlight of the trip. Definitely helped us unwind from the daily grind.

Amazing!!!

This tiny house exceeded all of our expectations! Christi and Rick were great hosts and made us feel like family. The house was adorable and the property was even more perfect than the pictures. Everything we needed for a great week was supplied. We even ended up having Thanksgiving dinner with them. We can't wait to plan our next visit!

Hidden Gem

We stayed at Sandy Hill Sunsets for a long weekend. Both the kids and us did not want to leave. The bay is beautiful and sunsets are unparalleled. We had full use of kayaks and paddle boards, as well as a private beach, not to mention, even an ice machine on the premises. It was quiet and relaxing! We will be going back!

A wonderful experience and gracious host

From start to finish, Christie was warm, friendly and welcoming. The hospitality and communication were off the charts. The private beach view is one of the most amazing views we experienced. Very private and a long stretch of beach to walk along. The place was clean and has everything you need from a basics standpoint. The surroundings were awesome. Lots of fields and nature to explore nearby with the golf cart. Highly recommend and will be back.

Million dollar view!

Fabulous place to unwind and revel in the beauty of nature. The tiny house was intimate and very comfortable, and the host was absolutely amazing. We loved the kayaks and tooling around on our bikes. We didn’t use the available golf carts, but we will next time we go, and we plan to return. Wonderful experience!

Loved It!

The owner was present throughout our visit. She spent time talking with our kids, started a s’mores fire for us, and was extremely friendly. We practically had the whole beach to ourselves for much of our stay and it was so wonderful and magical. My children are still talking about this trip! Hope to visit again soon! Thanks Christie. XO

Fabulous host! Our stay was beyond perfect!

Owners, Christi and Rick, were so welcoming from the moment we arrived. They were so generous, friendly and acccomodating. They welcomed us into their lives and their piece of paradise for a few days. Our children adored Christi and she went above and beyond with them. Even letting them drive her on the golf cart while my husband and I ate! Leaving felt like we were saying goodbye to family! We make new friends from our visit and will definitely return!

A Secret Paradise

You will not regret staying here. Our experience was better than we could have ever expected. The tiny house was perfect in comfort and location, literally just a few steps away from the beach. The beach is so peaceful, clean and private! Christi and Rick are the most humble and amazing people I’ve ever met, they will make you feel like family, I don’t know what was harder leaving: the beach or our amazing hosts. A Hidden Gem

Making arrangements was super easy with owner. Makes you feel welcomed and relaxed, available to help make plans for local sight seeing and restaurants. Beautiful yard, perfect beach on the bay. Watch eagles, osprey, herons diving for fish. Almost magical. Cabin was cute and cozy with a picture window to see the bay. Lots of outdoor equioment for activities. Absolutely a place to return. We have stayed many places over the yeara and this is one of ours favorites hands down.

Even Better than the Sunset

This property was amazing. Christi, the host, took us in as though we were her family. We had a blast. The tiny house was cozy for our family of 4. We had plenty of space to relax at night. We had a private beach and enjoyed watching the sunset while having smores on the beach. Christi had everything we needed, and more. The house was clean and had all the supplies we needed for our trip. They provided everything from towels and soap to bait and fishing rods. This was a great place and we plan to come again soon!

Gem of a Get-A-Way

This was our second visit. This vacation was relaxing, comfortable, and magical - again. Sunsets on the Chesapeake Bay are stunning, and being steps away from the house is so convenient with young children. Christi is the best host, very thoughtful and considerate, and is always so nice to my kids. They love her and talk about her often. If I could come once a month I would!! A very nice retreat after a very very hard year. Thank you, Christi!

Fantastic Views and Hospitality

We had a fabulous stay at the tiny house! The location and the views were amazing. We loved being able to walk right out to the private beach each day. We were able to fish, kayak, paddle board, and ride around the neighborhood in the provided golf cart. Our toddler loved the playground and coy pond in the yard. The description of the tiny house is accurate and we were comfortable inside. The host, Christie, is a genuine and caring person who wants to ensure that you have a memorable stay. She was always available for questions, help, and conversation. She helped us build a fire on the property, spent time helping us try to catch fish, and provided us with a meaningful final night of our trip. If you love the outdoors, perfect views, and fun...you have found the right place!

Peaceful

We had our honeymoon/family vacation at Sandy Hill Sunsets. The whole family had a great time at the beach. We also went to town and enjoyed some shopping and restaurants. My husband caught a stingray which we grilled and ate as well as the crabs caught fresh from the bay. Christi was a very attentive host. She provided all the fishing gear as well as a johnboat or kayak. She was there if we needed anything all we had to do was ask. They were like family we were visiting. I have 2 toddlers that loved to play and run at the beach without worry. Life jackets were available to use. She even had popsicles and bubbles. I plan to go back next year and would reccomend to anyone. Sandy hill sunsets is a safe, relaxing, family destination.
