"Lovely old, historic inn; gracious accomodations, friendly and helpful front desk. Some rooms might not have handy usb charging ports near bedsides. "
Maplewood Retreat | Spacious, Modern & Pet-Friendly
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was great for what we needed it for. We were attending a wedding, so basically we just spent a couple of nights. Everything was excellent. "
Cottage on the Lake with AC, WiFi, parking - Long term rental, pets OK
4/10 Poor
"The big issue was the listing, which said it could sleep 4 and that it had 2 bedrooms. It cannot and does not. It had one bedroom with one bed, and a 2nd room with chairs in it. Upon complaint, the owner acknowledged the error, informed us that there were air mattresses in the closet, and refunded us one night's stay. It was labor day and there was nowhere else to go, so we made do. The listing has been corrected now, and I can say that otherwise it's a nice place, fully equipped (although oddly lacking a knife), clean and functional. "
Historic Charm with modern amenities in Exeter, NH. 3 Bedrooms & Walk to town
10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing 4-night stay at this super charming and tasteful historic home over my son’s graduation weekend from Phillips Exeter Academy. It truly felt like home. The house is kitted out with everything needed. It’s the perfect launching pad to stay when visiting New England or a child at Phillips Exeter Academy. The location is great. Shops and restaurants are a short walk. The Academy is close but you’re not on top of your child. A shout out to the super responsive owner and property manager. "
"If I could give this 6 stars I would. Sophie was extremely communicative, and gave us an amazing location to do all the flowers for our upcoming wedding. The house and property was beautiful, and the event went off without a hitch. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone staying in the exeter area!"
