Our stay here was even better than we imagined from the photos. It is spotless and homey. Claudia and Danny were very welcoming, letting us pick fruit from their trees and play with their animals. They provided a delicious breakfast with fresh eggs and berries that even catered to our significant food intolerances. Wish we could have stayed longer and gotten their tour and story.
My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights to see Sequoiah and King’s Canyon NPs. We are both 55+. This working farm/animal sanctuary is so peaceful and fun to observe. The miniature goats were a hoot, especially the black escape artist.
The home itself is tastefully decorated inside with luxury linens and bathroom supplies. There is a fully stocked coffee bar/Keurig and the pantry has a full spice rack and staples. I hate to arrive at a property with nothing for guests.
I arrived on my birthday and Claudia had a large vase of flowers awaiting and there were several small containers of fresh roses and peonies throughout from their gardens. On our last morning, they deliver a farm basket to your porch with fresh waffle batter, fresh eggs from their chickens, fresh orange juice and local berries. It was perfect.
I would highly recommend this property to families of all ages and to friend groups traveling.
Enjoyed it so much that we ended up staying in and cooking dinner when we usually would go out. Definitely will book again each year when in the area. Hosts were great! Can’t say enough good things. Hoping to bring kids sometime too.
