"A wonderful cabin, expertly appointed with everything you might need. The location is superb for all that the area has to offer. We enjoyed walking down to the Smokehouse for dinners, hiking in Chimney Rock State Park, and kayaking on Lake Lure. Lisa was very communicative and ensured that all went smoothly. We'll be back!"

"It’s like a big treehouse with an awesome deck 3 sides around. Hot tubParty lights too! Tons of seating in and out! It has tons of very large windows with gorgeous green tree views from every where! Easy to find and very near Lake Lure, We loved it! Thx Ashley!"

"We enjoyed staying at Chimney Rock View. The place was clean and neat - a rustic small home that was mountain - bear themed - and we did see bears (outside)! The owners seemed to have everything we needed - and we could bring our dog! We were able to walk down the hill to awesome restaurants and shops. Great location to hike at Chimney Rock Park or travel a short distance to the Lake Lure Beach and Waterpark. It’s at a great location. We love that area - it’s so beautiful. There are steps - not a place for people with mobility issues. There is no dishwasher but that didn’t bother me or my husband. Regardless, we would definitely stay there again and hopefully will."

"Cabin was very nice. Needed some deep cleaning around fans and fixtures, but overall very nice. Unfortunately, we were unable to view the lake from the porch area due to over growth of limbs from the trees. It would be nice if the trees were pruned enough to allow a clear view of the beautiful lake. We brought our Mini dachshund for our trip and when we walked her leashed, the cabin next to us had 2 German Shepherds that were not leashed and the owner let them wander freely. They charged me and my dog several times which made it difficult to walk her. It might be helpful to ensure that guests with pets should always have them on a leash. Otherwise, we enjoyed our trip."

"We had an amazing time. If visiting Lake Lure or Chimney Rock area, this is a perfect location. We had our dogs with us, and they had the best time swimming in the lake just steps from our cabin. This will be a place we will visit again in the future. There was still ongoing construction in the area, but we were able to get around just fine. Highly recommend!"
