Everglades Stay

This cottage was perfect for our 2 day stay. Enjoyed the location. We were able to walk to the restaurants and bike to local attractions. Slept great and enjoyed all the extra touches the owner has put into the place to make it feel cozy and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again!

A cozy apartment with lots of style

This apartment was perfect for my daughter and me. The bed was comfortable as was the futon. A nice bathroom and kitchen area was great for us. The outside deck was a perfect place for a cup of coffee in the morning. The owner and his family were so friendly. We will definitely come back here when in the area!

Small, sweet, as advertised

This is a cute little addition to a modest home, was well equipped, small but charming as described, was perfect for our needs and very reasonably priced. Very comfy bed. Very quick to respond to my inquiries, tho we never saw the owners, presumably nextdoor. It seemed very private. It’s in an easy location, walkable anywhere in Everglades City. We were grateful to have found it.

Everglades Getaway

This property was exactly what we needed for our stay. It offered quiet retreat to recharge from the days activities. It was quaint, cozy, and comfortable. The owner added little touches like tea bags and sunscreen which were pleasant surprises. Use of the washer and dryer was also an added bonus. This will be the first time I am heading home from vacation with a bag packed full of clean clothes. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us for a few days. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again

Perfect Location!

This small apartment was great. It was very well appointed had everything we needed to stay comfortable and was 1 block from the water. Its smack in the middle of Everglades City and walkable to almost all of the restaurants, as well as 3 minutes drive to all the adventure companies offering pontoon, kayak and airboat toure. We walked to the water (3 minutes walk) and enjoyed teriffic sunsets all 3 nights we were there. Thanks for the peanut butter pretzles!

Fantastic value!

This is a fantastic apartment for 2-3. Very comfortable queen size bed. Lots of attention to detail and great management. The covered carport is a really nice perk, particularly when Florida showers are in play. Everglades City is small town old Florida. The local grocery store, visitor center, museum, and nice restaurant options are within easy walking distance (we loved Captain Morgan’s and highly recommend). This is a great accommodation in Everglades City, and although we were there for two nights, this apartment would also work quite well for an extended stay.

Quiet getaway

This was our first time visiting the Everglades. Everglades City was the perfect entry point (with Shark Valley an easy 50 minute drive through Big Cypress). The rental was cute and comfortable and in a great location (nice neighborhood in walking distance to the water, the Rod and Gun Club and other restaurants, visitor center, etc.). We had a minor problem that needed to be fixed and the host was very accommodating, completing the repair while we were away during the day. They thought of every detail and the decor was calm and inviting. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location and host

Very nice unit and the host was extremely responsive. Was there during a record cold snap, and host even provided a small space heater to heat up the room. Only mild “negative” is the unit is listed as having a “kitchen.” There is a full size fridge and sink, but no stove or oven. Unit did include a small microwave and a single plug-in burner. Overall a great spot that I will use again in the future.

Great stay in Everglades City

Cottage was very clean, well stocked for a relaxing weekend. It offered us a respite from hunting pythons and exploring the Big Cypress and ENP.
