Sufficient
Our stay was sufficient. The kitchen was fairly well equipped. Rooms & bathrooms were reasonably clean & comfortable. We found the house was a tight fit for 7 as the kitchen & lounge area was small with no dining area in the house. There is a large dining table on the deck which we used well. The description says pool but there is definitely no pool at this property. We went to the Eurong Resort & asked if we could use their pool & they said it wasn't a problem so the kids used every afternoon after being at the beach all day. There was no one in the house in front but I guess if there was there would be a lack of privacy & shared bbq area. Overall the house was clean & we slept well each night but is old & small.

Apurla Island Retreat
Our group of 8 stayed for 4 nights. Was great for 2 couples and kids. The house is spacious and well equiped and accommodated us nicely. Would definitely recommend.

House with everything!
Great communication from property owner. Happy to answer any questions and lots of information provided about the property and directions on how to get there! House had everything we needed for a 3 night stay ….. 2 couples with 3 kids aged 14,10 and 6.

Old and mouldy
Odd layout, no door on one bedroom. No plugs in bedrooms. Kitchen fat/grease in cupboard above stove. Building bricks and odd fences around the property. Bathrooms old and mouldy. Lovely lady who we dealt with but I’m pretty sure the reviews said ‘fabulous’. Someone is fudging those reviews. Far from it!

Great little getaway!
We had a great stay here in January 2022, house has everything you need and is in a great location close to Eurong shops and amenities. Everyone in the family had a great week here!

Be great to have a fan in living room. TV wasn't getting signal but no big deal for us. If weather was bad, this may of been an issue however. Karen was great to deal with. Very easy process.

Hi Liam Glad you enjoyed your stay. We are looking at putting a fan in living area when we can next get an electrician over there. The TV is satellite, so no signal in rainy weather.

Great location
The house, though small, fit our needs perfectly. Hosts have put in effort to provide all of the kitchen utensils and equipment you could possibly need. BBQ on the deck, and ample, comfortable furniture throughout the house. The location is a real winner, perfectly placed on the island, allowing us to see so many sites of Fraser.

Great location for exploring South & Central Fraser
Clean enough for what your paying, while looking run down from outside. Two bathrooms saves this house and beds are very comfy. We luckily didn't have 3 of our kids come (covid) as this house has 8 beds but cannot accommodate 8 people! It isn't 3 bedrooms, it's 2 with a sleepout that has double bed, so no privacy! The BBQ isn't working properly, kept blowing out and gas filling the air! Glasses not washed properly. It was cheaper than most and that's attractive. No place to eat inside means you have to eat outside with mozzies and sandflies. After coming to Fraser for thirty years, it was good to have a place shower and sleep, but will try elsewhere next time that fits 8 people.

Thank you for your review, glad you found the beds comfortable. A simple phone call to let us know that the BBQ was playing up as we were unaware, and we could have let you know that there was a spare BBQ you could have used. Our third bedroom is not a sleepout, albeit it doesn't have a door, however it does have a full length curtain for privacy. Also our house does sleep 8 as it has 2 QB's and 2 sets of bunk beds. I would suggest that next time you book somewhere, you check that the bed configuration suits your needs. We are currently looking at options for the dining area.

Great base to see fraser Island
Clean property with very friendly hosts - a great way to see Fraser Island if you have a big family and you ar enot up to camping.

We had good weather and we (8 adults) sat outside quite a lot around table on patio. If it had been damp we would have wanted a dining table inside, but that was not available.

Great apartment. Handy to everything
Great area, short walk to shop, Karen and Tony were awesome hosts and very helpful also made you feel like you were still at home. Happy hour great afternoon with some top music and yarns of the island. Apartment comfortably fitted 4 adults and four kids with two bathrooms making it easy for two families. Definitely will not hesitate to rebook at Apurla again.

Great island property.
We had a great time on Fraser, and staying in a house opposed to under canvas made it all the more enjoyable, with showers, toilets, cooking facilities, a fridge / freezer, really comfortable beds for all eight of us and not ankle deep in sand...great holiday.
