"A very very beautiful hotel. The attention to detail is amazing. All of the staff goes out of their way to assist you. Food is restaurant is excellent. The breakfast was the best we had in all our stays. The surrounding area flowers shrubbery was beautifully maintained. Martina checked us in and could not be more helpful. Very very pleasant staff. "Ein wunderschöner Platz für einen geruhsamen Urlaub.Der Trullo ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet.Der Olivenhain und Garten ist weitläufig und sehr gepflegt.Francesco ist ein sehr zuvorkommender, freundlicher und umsichtiger Gastgeber.Trotz der Abgeschiedenheit, sind die umliegenden Ortschaften schnell erreichbar. Wir haben unsere Urlaubstage im Trullo Saettone sehr genossen und können ihn absolut empfehlen."

"Unbelievable experience staying at our Trulli No. 1 .. can’t recommend it enough. Everything about the location was beautiful and well thought out. The staff were so kind and helpful. We had an amazing dinner and a lovely breakfast in a beautiful covered dining room. The view was amazing and two lovely pools for us to cool down in. Hundred percent recommend visiting you couldn’t ask for a better location .. 5 Stars loved it"

Beautifully restored late 18th Century Trullo, close to Cisternino and Ostuni

"We had a lovely stay in this beautiful trullo in mid May, which has been carefully and cleverly restored. It does have indoor and outside sitting space whichx, outside the hotter months, means you can be cosy on cooler evenings. It is located in a very private quiet rural area, but still only 10 minutes or so to drive into Cisternino, a very unspoilt but authentic town in the lovely Itera Valley which has a very good selection of restaurants. The location is perfect both to enjoy lovely walks such as along the nearby aqueduct where the wild flowers and flowering Robina trees were just beautiful. Or visit lovely coastal beaches (about half an hour away and almost empty in May), or take longer trips to iconic sites such as Lecce or the Castel Del Monte.The owner, Richard, and the local agent were both easy to contact and quick to respond with any queries. The photos on the Vrbo site are accurate and the Trullo is well equipped. As Richard said, he is trying to equip the Trullo with everything you might need so it was like a home from home. The Wifi works well, so while the trullo is off the beaten track, you can still be in touch with the wider world when you want to be.Very happy to recommend this Trullo and many thanks to Richard and Pierdonarto"

"Borgo Canonica is a beautiful and very charming place with great service and attention from the staff. The atmosphere is peaceful, unique, and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Puglia experience. The rooms and property are very well maintained and truly special. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is a bit far from the main cities and attractions, so having a car is definitely recommended. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the experience."

"We had an excellent stay at Casa Sulla Collina and the managment company were there to welcome us on our arrival, which was very reassuring.The villa is in a quiet and peaceful location with stunning views. The property is immaculate, with a very well stocked kitchen, lovely lounge area and comfortable sized bedrooms. We enjoyed having dinner at the outdoor dining table in the evening and drinks on the terrace watching the sun set. The extensive gardens are beautiful and the pool is a welcome addition on hot days too. The location of the villa is ideal to explore some of the historic towns that are within easy reach, we particularly enjoyed Cisternino. Thank you to our host Amanda, and Martino and Nico for the friendly welcome."

"On arrival no one advised regarding an issue with the swimming pool. We were shocked to go to it and find the pool bright green in colour. We enquired at reception and were advised the pool was being tested routinely and it was safe for guests to use. Staff advised it had been like that for 6 days and was due to grass cuttings blowing into the pool. We did not use the pool as we had safety concerns. The next day I asked to speak to the hotel Director regarding my concerns but he was not on site and reception staff did not know when he would visit next. I asked if the hotel had informed the ASL (local health authority) of the bright green pool issue and the fact that it was open for use but I did not receive an answer. I suggested the pool needed to be closed for guest safety, a notice informing guests of the issue and further testing for bacteria. Within an hour my suggestions were implemented and they starting to drain the pool. I never did get to use the pool during my 4 day stay and I never did get to speak to the Hotel Director about the issue. The hotel itself is in a beautiful setting and the guest facing staff extremely pleasant. Actions by Hotel Management in responding to the bright green pool issue was not to my personal standard as in my view guest safety is their highest priority. The trip was spoiled not so much by the lack of use of the swimming pool (mistakes do happen) but the response to the issue and lack of availability to Hotel Management."
