We were looking for a quiet, restful place for a few days, and this was perfect! Beautiful view of the land, well-appointed home with super comfortable bed, very clean. Owner made check-in easy. And we were so excited to find my mother-in-law’s note in the guest book from 5 years ago! Highly recommend.
We couldn’t have been more happy! From the location, to every thoughtful little touch- they have it all! The hosts are the sweetest and very communicative. I couldn’t recommend more, we were so happy this was our stay
We enjoyed our 2-night stay in the Garden Suite. Very spacious, well stocked with everything we needed, comfortable bed (futon mattress as well), beautiful grounds with fenced in large back yard, which was nice for our dogs. I loved the close proximity to town (walkable), and the beautiful Russ Park right across the street, which has great hiking/running trails (steep), and expansive views. Would love to come back and stay longer next time!
We were in Ferndale for a multi-day event at the Fairgrounds. The Garden Suite suited us perfectly. We travel with our dogs, and the suite worked well. The location offered proximity to downtown Ferndale and its many charms, and also to the Fairgrounds. Our hosts (Sheila and Sharon) provided access information a couple days in advance, and gave careful directions so we wouldn't drive past their country-road location. We've already made our reservation for a return visit!
We stayed with our two dogs and enjoyed the scenery and small town of Ferndale, with the awesome Victorian houses and pastoral views. Well kept property and nice owners. Great yard for the dogs and a very short walk to town. Nice shops, limited choice of restaurants but a short drive to Eureka or Fortuna if you want more seafood, etc. Jack's Seafood in Eureka was nice, with waterfront seating on the bay.
We stayed four nights with our dog, Bosco, who loved the space to run around and check out the cows and the deer. It is very peaceful and quiet with a large bedroom and bath.
You are within walking distance to Main Street but feel like you are all alone in the countryside. Hosts are extremely responsive.
Our Thanksgiving stay at the Bluff house properties was fantastic! It worked out perfectly for everyone to do their holiday cooking and then share the holiday meal in the Farmhouse. There is such an attention to detail in each of the rentals. Friday we walked to town and had a great time doing some shopping in the wonderful shops on Main St. Ferndale. Thank you for helping to make our family holiday stay so memorable.
making it a memorable holiday.
We loved your home♥️ it was perfect for our stay in Ferndale. Our dog Willy loved the spacious yard. I found it a bit difficult to use the VRBO app. when trying to communicate with the property manager, prior to our stay. I tried several times, but each time the code given did not work in the time allotted. I was so glad that the instructions via email were very detailed. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay in Ferndale, we would like to return again perhaps for next years event!

If you want a quiet and relax stay, this is the place! Far from noises of big cities and traffic, crowds, this pasture home provides the tranquility and peacefulness.
This was a perfect-sized place for my family of 3 for 3 nights. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful setting and location but close enough to walk to Main Street. Easy and quick communication with the host. We will definitely stay here again!

Close enough to town to walk but far enough away for complete quiet and privacy. Check in was a breeze and the stay was problem free.
My wife and I have enjoyed our prior stays here. We are now home from our last visit throughly refreshed and energized. We haven't been this relaxed in several years. Great stay. Looking forward to our next visit.
Very clean. Host was quite attentiveHeating the bedroom is a bit problematic. Please, please, please replace the miniature television.Located just outside town, but an easy walk.
We enjoy our stay each time we come to the Garden Suite. Perfect for someone with a pet. Ferndale is a great little get away with good food and fun shops. We enjoyed checking out the Ferndale Museum and the little Carnegie Library on Main St.
