Get ready for the vacation of a lifetime! Huge home on almost 4 acres. Lots of room for all of the family to have fun inside and out. This home was just purchased and there will be several improvements to the furnishings you see in the pictures. We will upload them as changes are made. This home sits at the border of Smith River, CA and Brookings/Harbor, OR. Enjoy the expansive ocean views with the most amazing sunsets you will ever see. Where the Redwoods meet the Pacific Ocean, gorgeous!

Location, location, location

Great house for our three generations family trip. Walking distance to the ocean and a terrific beach, reasonable driving to Redwood National and State Parks, groceries and restaurants a short drive up to Brookings, OR. Wonderful stay!

House was in a great location and perfect option for family friendly ping pong table was a hit and the view was great could have used better kitchen pot and pans but over stay was great

Lola was great to work with and the house was perfect. Very spacious!

We only stayed one night, but I wish it were longer. The home was very comfortable with plenty of space for our party of 12. It was clean and conveniently located to our points of interest. Lola was great to work with! I appreciated her quick communication and flexibility.

Beautiful views, convenient location

Large home with beautiful views just south of Brookings. Great for family reunions. Large kitchen and wonderful separate game room. House could really use some finishing touches like patio furniture, window coverings in the living room and baking dishes/mixing bowls in the kitchen. Beds were super comfy.

Family Friendly Explorers

Our group of 12 really enjoyed staying at the property. We had 7 kids and 5 adults and the rooms were spaced out well and there was additional beds provided for littles that made it easy for us all to sleep comfortably. We enjoyed the multiple living spaces so kids could play in one area and adults catch up and talk in another. The games in the garage were a fun place to retreat to. Watching the ocean as the sunset was a beautiful way to end the day. The place was easy to find and get into and made for ease as we explored the surrounding areas both in Oregon and California.

Spacious & comfortable

The property was roomy and comfortable, and the view was beautiful. The property does need a little work, which I communicated to the owner. Lola was pleasant, responsive, and helpful. Our observations did not detract from our experience though, and we are happy that we rented the space. We had a group of 11 adults. There were plenty of pillows and blankets and plates and cutlery to accommodate our group. My only caution is on the first half of the driveway, which is narrow with a high center. Most of our cars were bottoming out if you don't approach it at an angle.

Fun weekend stay

This house was perfect for our group. We had plenty of room inside the house with enough room outside and the garage area was great where we enjoyed the pool table and ping pong. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and plenty of other cooking supplies. The host made sure we had contact information and reassured us to reach out if we needed anything. There's a small area of water runoff outside beside the walkway by the house, where the kids enjoyed looking for slugs and frogs, however we found that it is very deep mud, although it doesn't look like it. A fence around this area would help so a small kid doesn't fall into it. There are cameras all around the outside of the house and in the garage, which weren't disclosed in the booking. Over all, we enjoyed our stay and thank the host for the accommodations!

Perfect spot for family get-a-way

Roomy house. Close to beach. Easy to get to Brookings and Crescent City. We are already taking about renting it again.
