So fun!
We had a blast! Lots to do for everyone. Great facility for a crowd. Excellent communication from owner and caretaker. My only comments are that the twin beds are not comfortable and the entire facility is quite old. But we didn’t mind too much because it was completely functional and pretty clean too. We will come back here !

Thank you for your review. I am glad you had a good time. The facility is getting older but it is a rustic lodge. We have remolded the lodge several times and do constant upgrades to keep it comfortable appealing for our guest.

Reunion/wedding
We had a great time, the property is beautiful, private and clean. We had a family reunion and wedding all at the lodge. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and addresses any issues immediately, “not that we had many”. The lodge is beautiful and well maintained. I recommend Hawkins Ridge for any event, contact the owner he will do everything in his power to make your event special! I would give it 10 stars if I could. I would like to thank the owner and his staff, we had suck a great time, Thank You!

Birthday at Hawkins Ridge
We celebrated a family birthday with a total of sixteen family members. We thoroughly enjoyed the fishing boats, paddle boats, canoe, paddle board and kayak. The grandchildren enjoyed fishing and swimming. The water was surprisingly clear! The owner was very accommodating. It was a great weekend!

Church Youth Retreat
We found Hawkins Ridge lodge on VRBO when searching for a place to host our church youth retreat. This place is HUGE and perfect for large parties. The kitchen/dining area made meals time super easy and functional. The lodge living room area made an awesome place for our nightly Bible studies. The game room was a hit for everyone there. The private lake made for fun mornings while being close to Lake Eufaula made for fun afternoons! Our two littles enjoyed adventuring around the property with our youth group and playing on the playground. The wild animals were so fun to watch and enjoy. Overall, 10/10 recommend this lodge. We will be returning!

This is our 2nd year coming to Hawkins Ridge!
This place has been a great place for our friends group 6/7 couples to come for a full long weekend. We love the privacy and location of the place. It is so peaceful. Beautiful area! We do enjoy getting everyone together around the fire pit at night after a fantastic dinner cooked in the commercial size kitchen. No need to bring anything but your food. It is fully stocked with all the equipment you need. We have been fishing and enjoying the animals that are on the property as well. Mr. Hawkins, family and staff were very helpful. Just wonderful people. We certainly have enjoyed our visit and look forward to coming back next year again!

We live this property! The owner treats you like family! The peacefully slow and steady pace is amazing. The animals on the property are the highlight of every day for our children! The only thing I would like to see changed/update, would be the locks on the doors to the outside access of the house. That's it. There are some minor repairs that need to be done to the property, but nothing that would keep us from returning in the future! Thank you so much, Mr. Hawkins, for being so welcoming to our family!

Hawkins Ridge Wedding
Our experience with Hawkins Ridge was nothing short of perfect! The lodge was spotless and ready for us to use as soon as we arrived and the owner was always close by to check on us throughout our stay. We had our wedding out there and it was everything we dreamed of! Spacious, clean, accommodating for everyone out there, and there were quite a bit of us! We enjoyed every part of our stay. We had the our wedding dreams come true!

The Great Getaway
This place was fantastic for our family getaway and the perfect venue to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday. Tons of space so everyone could spread out in the lodge. We had plenty of room for the celebration with the invited guests. The host made everything go very well form check-in to check out. From the exotic animals on the property, access to the private pond and great sunsets, it was an excellent getaway. Nothing like country living in a great lodge with so much privacy.

Awesome get away
22 family and we made all our meals in the large kitchen and ate together in the dining area. Beds for everyone even though some of the kids slept on the couch, large living room. Beautiful lake with paddle boat, kayaking, fishing boats with trolling motors and a boat with AC to cool off in and play games. Craig , the owner was awesome, only a phone call away very friendly and welcoming and his son Jake took us to see the animals . We made family pictures on the front porch and the tractor in the yard, turned out beautiful. A very relaxing vacation for everyone. Great family time.

Simple Family Vacation
We really enjoyed our stay. The kids played on the playground, swam in the lake, and had a blast. We don’t live too far from the property so it made for a really nice family vacation.

The perfect quiet get away!
We loves our stay at the Lodge! We had 4 adults and our 12 children ranging in ages from 7 to 21. What a great time!! The pond was perfect for everyone! Our children begged to see the animals multiple times a day! Each morning I just sat on the front porch drinking my coffee enjoying the the peace of the place. The owner, Mr. Hawkins, treated us like family. Even his employees on the farm were beyond friendly. He did ask us if there was anything we would change and the only thing I had to say was, because of us having all the children there, I would like the locks on the doors to the outside of the lodge to work. That's pretty much it. But despite that we absolutely felt safe, that wasn't an issue. We loved it so much, we've already booked our next trip there and we can't wait!

Absolutely Great!
Great family reunion location! The lodge was perfect. There were ten of us and had lots and lots of room for everyone. Each of the bedrooms had it's own bathroom. The living room was comfortable with a plenty of seating and large TV. The next room had a pool table which we all enjoyed very much. The kitchen and huge dining room was across a deck. Dining room seated 20 and the kitchen was great. Huge refrigerator and gas restaurant stove. The lawn and outside area was beautiful. Perfect for the boys to play baseball. Across the driveway was a great playground. Up the driveway was an animal compound for viewing. Bison, sheep, goats. A sweet camel and donkey. There was also a large herd of Watusi cattle which were absolutely magnificent! A short walk or drive down past the owners house was a beautiful little lake complete with deck and covered dock. Also an enclosed air conditioned room. There were ample cayaks and boats. Lots of fish in the lake. Birds everywhere. The Hawkins family were friendly and very helpful. The place was absolutely perfect for our vacation and a welcome change from the busy beach vacations we usually go on. The price was unbeatable for 10. We are very happy with our choice.

Great place! Everybody enjoyed it. The pond was a hit for the teenage kids they loved it! The owner was very accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

Great relaxing place
Wonderful getaway to relax, hang out by the fire, play on the lake and more. We had a great few days just getting away from it all! And the owner was very kind and took the kids to see and pet the animals on the property.

Great place to stay!
Everyone was very impressed with the size and room. It was just wonderful. We had 11 adults staying over night. Family with five children and 3 more adults came for the day on Saturday cookout. The kids loved the huge playground and extra sliding boards. They had a great time fishing and looking at the different animals there on the property. Mr. Hawkins was available if we had any questions or needed extra help with anything. We felt welcomed right away. The property is absolutely beautiful and quite with a lot of rustic charm. Very well kept. We all had the best time and We will definitely be back. Thank you Mr. Hawkins, our family and friends are still talking about the beauty and fun!

Great place for a big family to relax and have fun.
Hawkins Ridge was perfect for our family reunion of 20 people. It has the largest great room and best kitchen/dining setup we've seen for a big group. The private lake was really fun for playing and fishing. We had kids of all ages playing at the lake for 3 days with no whining about being bored. The one thing this property could use is some new mattresses. Some of them we pretty rough for sleeping.

Trip to the Lodge
The property is beautiful. Craig and his son Jake are awesome, friendly and easy to deal with. Having an advantage of Hunting through Craig and the Hawkins Ridge Lodge - gave us an insight as to what to expect. We took the kids bicycles, yard games and fishing poles. We packed containers of dry goods and coolers full of frozen food as well. With ample freezer space, a huge refrigerator and all the cookware you can possibly use - made staying at the Lodge and cooking home cooked meals fantastic - seating for 20 in dinning area, food warmers, plenty of space, the entire family ate together every meal, it was great! Huge fire pit and rocking chairs. You might want some folding camp chairs for portability. but there is plenty of outside seating on the multiple decks, but under roof and open air. The Lake is great, plenty of Bass, Bluegill and Shell crackers to be caught -- kids and adults both can swim, boat, kayak, even paddle board... - Over all, it's a really nice place, mowed and well kept, this is a great spot for a quiet get away off the beaten path. Will definitely see Craig and Jake again! Thanks Guys!

Family Vacation/Gator hunt on Lake Eufaula
Our stay was perfect! We needed a place big enough for 18 people close to Lake Eufaula for the gator hunt. Except for while on Lake Eufaula, we never left the property. We occupied ourselves with helping Jake feed the animals, swimming and fishing at the lake, playing pool or cards at the lodge, relaxing on the porch, or enjoying a big family meal in the dining hall. Mr. Craig Hawkins, his son Jake, and all of the staff are excellent hosts, very accommodating, and just great people. Can’t say enough good things about them or our stay at the lodge!

Great place for family's to stay together.
This is our 2nd time staying at Hawkins Ridge. My kids and grand-kids love staying there. There are 7 bedrooms, each with a bathroom, so everyone is under one roof. The lodge is nice, but they really love the private lake that has boats, kayaks, paddle boats that they can use (no extra charge). There is a commercial kitchen along with a large dinning room. We enjoy spending family time together. We had 13 people and there was plenty of room for more. We plan to go back again! The owner, Craig, is very hospitable and very accommodating.

We had a great time it was everything it looked like it would be. The owner was super hospitable. Plenty of room and we had 16 people with beds left over. All the animals were super friendly. And the lake with everything we expected it was all a great time and we will do it again.

Best Vacation and Hunting Lodge
Most amazing place to stay in Eufaula. Craig and his son, Jake are very accommodating. They go above and beyond to assure your stay is pleasant. The place is very clean, roomy and meets the needs of everyone of all ages. The lake on the property is great to have a cookout, swim and fish. We also enjoyed hunting rams in the high fence area. Overall this place is the best place we have ever stayed at. We book it every year for our July and August birthdays. If you haven’t stayed at Hawkins Ridge Lodge, you should really check it out! It’s amazing!!

Great Family Vacation
The Hawkins Ridge Lodge was an excellent place for our family to spend our vacation. There were enough bedrooms to accommodate three families, and the outdoor spaces were gorgeous. The kitchen and dining room areas were large enough to have multiple people cooking at once and for the whole family to sit down to eat together. The Hawkins and those that work on the property were the kindest people. They were accommodating for all members of our family. Our grandfather is disabled, so the Hawkins lent us a shower chair, and when the lift for his scooter broke on the car, Craig called a mechanic to fix the lift. The Hawkins helped make sure our grandfather was able to continue traveling around with us, as without his scooter, it would be difficult. For his help, we are so grateful. We cannot express our appreciation for making this family vacation one of the best we have had. Jake was an enthusiastic host and showed us around the property. He also let us see all the animals and built us a fire in the fire pit. I highly recommend the Hawkins Ridge Lodge for family vacations or any travel reason and for the fact that the Hawkins themselves are so kind and helpful. We have already recommended this lodge to others and would encourage everyone to visit Hawkins Ridge Lodge. I cannot wait to come back and enjoy more time with my family in a place that is so welcoming and beautiful.

Great vacation!
We enjoyed our stay so much. The property is spacious, clean and quiet. We caught enough bass for 2 fish fries and could have had more. The kids (all young adults now) enjoy the paddle boat and kayaks on the lake as well as the slide and diving board while swimming in the lake. Mr Hawkins, Jake and the others helping on the property were kind and attentive to any of our questions and needs. We enjoyed playing pool when we were not outside. The beds are comfortable and everyone enjoyed having their own bathroom. The furniture in the living room is also comfy and my husband and I couldn’t resist afternoon naps. Lol.. The commercial kitchen and large dining area was great for our large group. The ice maker came in handy for coolers with fish and for drinks. The front porch was great, rocking and enjoying the birds and small rabbits. The zebra, camel and others on site were a plus and we enjoyed watching them. I can’t say enough about how nice and relaxing our stay was. Thank you Mr Hawkins for sharing your place with us. You have a beautiful place.

Best Getaway Ever!
This is our favorite place to just get away. Craig, Jake, and staff are AMAZING hosts! The location is beautiful. The lake is perfect for swimming, fishing, kayaking, and has a lake house for preparing food or dining indoors. We had close to 20 people in our party and it was more than accommodating! This was our 2nd time staying in the past month and we will definitely be back SOON!

My family of 16 , all ages, had a great time here at Hawkins Ridge. We visited a lot on all the porches, played pool, took walks and enjoyed watching the animals. Fishing at the lake was very nice too. The kitchen and dining room was large and was wonderful to be able to enjoy all our meals together. Thank you Craig and Jake for making our stay very memorable. FUNNEST FAMILY VACATION EVER
With such a big crowd, it is difficult to find accommodations that are adequate. Every bedroom having their own bathroom is great! Our grandkids (ages 21 down to 8) thought it was the 'funnest vacation yet. And the gals really loved the hugh kitchen and fridge. Just everything was so nice - we are planning to come back.
