"We were 6 in the property- grandparents, parents and children. The property was furnished to a good standard (all bedrooms are doubles but our boys shared a bed). Kitchen very well stocked. WiFi was set up with plenty of routers but didn’t work while we were there and didn’t get fixed. Pool was heated (a massive bonus) and I would guess about 8x4m in size. Supermarkets 10 mins away by car - all open Sunday mornings."

"We enjoyed our brief stay at Pierre’s house. Very clean, comfortable and spacious for a family of four. Loved being able to walk to the boulangerie in the morning and the many restaurant options in the evening. Super convenient location for all of the Font climbing areas and really appreciated being able to rent bouldering pads from Pierre. We would definitely stay again!"

"Nous avons passé trois jours très agréables chez Annette en dépit d'un temps assez maussade. Le jardin à l'arrière de la maison est délicieux, d'un calme parfait traversé de cris d'oiseaux, les roses embaument le sucré ou le citronné. "This is a wonderful place to stay, close to Orleans and within easy reach of both towns and countryside. The gîte was clean, very well equipped and the owner friendly, welcoming and helpful. The villagers were also friendly and forgiving of our French!! The swimming pool at the gîte was a high spot for us all and we swam every day. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here."

"Lots of space for the family to explore and relax. The beds are very comfortable. The pool is a wonderful. The gardens are gorgeous! The VRBO app was unreliable but Victoria was accessible by phone. Her Gardner was very helpful and it was nice to have someone on site. The town is quaint with excellent restaurants. Great place for families with children."

Disappointing Stay Despite Good Facilities
"I recently stayed at Résidence Océane for a week for business, and unfortunately, my experience was quite poor. The hotel failed to meet basic expectations in several critical areas. Firstly, there was no fresh bedding linen or towels provided for the entire duration of my stay, so one large towel and 2 small hand towels for a week. This lack of cleanliness and attention to guest comfort is unacceptable. Additionally, there were no cleaners to address these issues or maintain the room's hygiene at anytime through my stay. This was evident even on arrival when I checked the bedding to find small shells of dead insects and pubic hair nicely scattered across the bed! While the facilities themselves were good and well-maintained, the lack of curtains in the room meant that I was greeted by beaming sunshine at 6am every morning, which severely disrupted my sleep. To make matters worse, alarms from nearby buildings went off throughout the night, making it difficult to rest. Overall, the poor service and lack of basic amenities overshadowed the positives of this hotel. I would not recommend Résidence Océane for a comfortable and restful stay."
