Sofabed so squeaky that it will likely wake up the whole room if you move at all. - Aircondition in room - but not working. - Showerhead could not be fastened. "This apartment in Aiguines was perfect for our stay near the Verdon Gorge. The apartment is beautiful inside and is very spacious. We especially loved the balcony that overlooks the lake and chateau. The only downside is the apartment does not include linens/towels or internet, which was not communicated to us until after we paid and made the reservation. However, the linen fee of 30 was minimal, but I would have preferred to have known this upfront when I made the reservation. I would love to...

"This is a fantastic villa, well equipped for a comfortable stay in a stunning location. We really enjoyed the area - swimming and paddle boarding in the lake and cycling. Bauduen is a small village, very pretty with restaurants to enjoy. I really recommend this villa if you like the quiet life - hopefully we will return!"

"The house is nicely furnished with almost everything you need. On the surface everything was clean, but in a few corners spiders have made themselves at home. Garden and pool is really nice, and especially in summer the pool is recommended. You have long distances to the nearest supermarket or gas station, and everything you need should be in the house. The surrounding area here is beautiful and 14 days were not enough to discover even a small part. We liked it here very much, and we come back...

"Lovely location but the property needs a bit of tlc. We were lucky there were no other guests for our first three nights as when they did arrive we had to leave the relaxing veranda because they polluted our atmosphere with their smoking. Also the wifi does not work - not a problem for us as we have plenty of mobile data for our limited needs. All the same we hope to come back - our host, Tony, was very affable."

"This auberge is situated in the centre of Castellane, with a river at the rear that you can swim in. The breakfast was varied and there was plenty of it, lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. There is a large rear shaded terrace which was quiet snd you could relax have a drink. Castellane has a friendly, busy but relaxed vibe, plenty to see and do. I would definitely stay again. Ask for a room on the rear so that it is hidden from the buzz of the square. "

"Lou Paradou was a beautiful aparthotel in a gorgeous little town. The staff were so lovely and friendly, the hotel was spotless and the pool area was really nice and well maintained.
