Nice, clean cabin
We enjoyed our stay but had a little trouble with the road noise. The noise is pretty constant during the day but does reduce at night. The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. They have to bring in water (there was plenty when we were there) so they ask you to conserve water. We had no problem with that, but didn't know until we got there so that was a bit of a surprise. Never met the owners but the guestbook spoke positively of them. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Cute, rustic log cabin
Rod had the heat turned up ready for us when we got there. Cute cabin, complete accommodations - kitchen (with lots, pans, dinnerware, plates, everything needed) if you want to cook. Full size refrigerator, good size bathroom. We only stayed downstairs, but there is room for more people to sleep in the upstairs loft. Right by the road, could hear a big truck go by now and then, but did not hear “regular” vehicles. We visited with them during our visit, great visit and they are very friendly. Would stay here again, recommend this place.

Perfect cabin! Close to Fairbanks for easy/quick trips into town. Well built and quiet. Some reviews mentioned highway noise…this truly was not an issue for us. If the windows are closed, you will not hear anything. Would absolutely rent again in the future

Great stay!
We really enjoyed it. Love the location in relations to Fairbanks. It is right off the highway and a bit noisy but doable. Not as isolated as I hoped but it was still a great choice for us.

Cozy cabin with great access to fairbanks
Very clean and cozy cabin with great access to the main highway into Fairbanks. Only downsides were some highway noise, and the lack of any curtains to keep the midnight sun away.

Great Cabin!!
This was a great spot to spend our vacation - we were able to drive to the locations we wanted to see, it was easy to find and my son loved the sleeping loft. We will definitely keep this in mind for our next trip.

Cozy clean cabin!
Yvet Rob are wonderful hosts! The cabin is cozy, plenty of sleeping space! Love the full kitchen only thing we wish we had was a toaster :). We had the privilege of meeting them, their beautiful kiddos and the dog! I loved the decor and the items that they have displayed and available for purchase! We bought an Ulu knife and some jewelry made by them and got to learn about them. Yvet was so nice to fufill our request to carve on the ulu knife handle we bought.

The cabin was spacious and great deal for the money this cabin had everything we needed and more we also used the grill outside and enjoyed the surroundings the owners were there if we needed anything and we’re very helpful with things to do in the Fairbanks area. This cabin was very clean and cozy we enjoyed it and would probably come back to it in the future

Great space - just what we needed for a visit to Fairbanks.
Great cabin. Very roomy. It is close to the Parks Highway so you get a little road noise. Not an issue for me but be aware just in case.

Charming cabin. Charming host and hostess.
The cabin is very comfortable for a family of four with children age six and up. The ladder to the loft was easy and safe enough even for me. I am 62. The access to Denali was perfect. The access to Fairbanks was good as well. The University of Alaska at Fairbanks is just a five minute drive. They have a wonderful Large Animal Research center with reindeer and musk ox. Rod and family were charming.

Cozy Cabin for Alaskan Adventures
We stayed at this property for a week while visiting family in Fairbanks. It was just far enough away to allow ourselves a little space, without being a long drive to participate in activities in and around Fairbanks. Our almost-5-year-old loved the loft, with its steep stairs/ladder! Would certainly recommend this to others staying in the area!

Loved it!
Great location. Out of the city but not remote. The cabin is as it looks in the pictures, very cute and homey. No other way to stay in Fairbanks but in a real cabin. Only real surprise was a 500 gallon water tank. But with 3 females we had no problems. I would definitely recommend this rental to friends and family.

Hi, thanks for staying with us. With regards to the water tank it is 500 gallons but we refill it every two days. We just let guests know if we are going to be gone during the weekend or during their visit. The most water used by guests during a day last summer was 100 gallons so I I don't think there is any risk of running out there is also an additional 40 gallons or so of hot water stored in the hot water tank. Also when we notify guests we haul water they usually try to conserve more and sometimes use hardly any. I think you guys used only like 30 gallons or so.

Great cabin!
Loved our stay in Fairbanks. This cabin was easy access (right off Parks Hwy) to Denali- just a little bit over an hour! The cabin has a lot of unique Alaskan items that were interesting to look at. Highly recommend it!

Nice cabin for a nice price
This was a cute cabin. The bed in the main room was comfortable, and the kids loved the loft. The owners were very friendly. We were worried that the cabin would feel too far away from Fairbanks, but we found that it felt really close town. The only drawbacks were that the cabin was right near the highway so that the sound came into the cabin, and no laundry. But great for the price! We were happy.

Awesome place. Pictures simply do not do it justice. Very convenient location outside of town.
Loved it. Recommend this place to everyone!!! cabin is beautiful and clean. Beds are comfy and property manager is super nice but not intrusive. If you're headed to Fairbanks this is the place to stay.
