I stayed at Maristel with a friend and we had a lovely experience. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the breakfast was lovely, healthy and fresh - Exactly what we needed and wanted. The only downside is that there isn't much parking outside the hotel, and it fills up quickly

Relaxing and beautiful location

Idyllic location, great facilities (including the spa), with excellent food and very friendly and hospitable staff throughout our visit. The terrace in particular was a magical place to relax and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. We would like to go back again.

A charming hotel in a pretty town

This place one of the only places to stay in the small town of Estellencs. The hotel is what you’d expect for a 4 star (good quality breakfast, nice pool area, nice staff etc). I would probably stay again. A couple of things that could’ve been better: The AC and fridge in the room didn’t really work but it wasn’t a huge problem for us.

Not as great as expected. No bike renta available though it is advertised as a main thing, you have to reserve 7 days ahead- no info about it anywhere. Hot tub was cold. Room had no body wash, seemed like decor was missing. Breakfast was great though staff seems to be busy and stressed not too guest oriented.

Dear Maristel Hotel, We had a great time at your hotel. We loved the breakfast and services. Very nice terracces and pool area. Parking was always available. But we had a room in the second building and we had the feeling that the facilities and conditions of the rooms are not in the same standard as the rooms at the main hotel building. Our A/C was old and wasn't strong and well working. In the bathroom was a smell out of the sink in the morning and in general the bathroom interior seems to get older. Also the toilet was leaking and there was water on the floor. For the pricing of 160 EUR per night, it might be a bit too much?! For a 160 EUR room per night we expected actually a different standard. For my friend was the bed also too soft. The mattress was laid out. All in all we loved our stay, the hotel, especially the breakfast and the beautiful main hotel building with pool and sun terrace! But it comparison services and pricing it could be more faire for rooms that are in the second building. Have a great week ahead, Laura

The hotel is in a great location and really has a very nice view from the sea view rooms. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is relatively plentiful for the size of the hotel and of a high quality. However, the rooms are a disaster for the price (we paid €255 per night for a deluxe double room). The furnishings are ancient and don't even come close to resembling the photos, neither the colour nor the furnishings. The wardrobe doors were so crooked that they almost fell off, the walls were dirty and had streaks of paint on them and there weren't even any slots for the lock in the bathroom door frame. The slots were nicked with a knife after we reported it to reception and instead of being given a new, clean and tidy room, we were only given an apology card with two cocktails on the house. Unfortunately, the walls and ceilings are very noisy and there are hardly any places to eat in the city. The few dishes in the hotel bistro are delicious. The spa area is in a kind of basement and even if everything there is kept simple and not ugly, it is not worth spending a whole day there to relax. The roof terrace with pool and a great view is better. Conclusion: The location and view are great, the rooms are an absolute flop for the price.

Beautiful views, amazing room! I had a massage with Veronica who is the best. Cannot recommend highly enough! Parking is on street and has not been a problem for us, you can unload outside the reception. our room was across the road from the hotel and was perfect. Peaceful and beautiful views. We haven't stayed in the rooms in the hotel itself but I would definitely recommend the rooms across the road. Breakfast was great too.

The stay at the place is standard and the only good thing is the view. The hotel suits more to groups rather than single bookings. It’s disappointing that for a 4 star hotel there is not mini bar, you have to sign a deposit for the robes and that waitering staff at the restaurant are quite rude - from the morning to the late evening they would let you enjoy your food in quite but shout to each other all the time. We had a double bed with wasn’t even a double and it kept separating as it was 2 single beds, even after this no so great experience they refunded us for the spa. I would double think before booking here.

Very clean, loved the balcony in our suite, and the spa was great. Excellent buffet breakfast. Unfortunately the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable, but overall, it was a luxurious and enjoyable stay.

Beautiful place with nice view from the pool and also from the room (if you take a room with seaview). The breakfast was very good. The little village was nice as also the surroundings. Can recommened this place.

Highly recommend

We went for my birthday for 1 night , but enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night . The views were amazing , the spa was the best I have ever used and the staff so friendly and helpful , in particular Anna on reception

A lovely hotel for a relaxing break. We enjoyed using the indoor spa and reading by the pool outside. Breakfast was excellent and on a lovely terrace outside. Very comfortable, clean, large room with a small balcony and a sea view. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.
