The location is very good near of everything, But the stuff is not friendly I think they were aggressive, the reception man interpret our reservation inaccuracy so he started to communicate with us based on this aggressively and when he realized his mistake he even didn’t apologize.

But since in your eyes customers are always the "king", thats how you treated me, i will leave it at this. By the way, we still have the room unavailable to guests do to your way of " living " in them during your stay. Gladly we will support you on finding a nice hotel during your next stay in Essen.

Relaxing
Staff was *super* friendly and helpful. Room was pleasant and clean; ours was on the courtyard away from the busy street and was very quiet (we awoke to bird song).

Friendly, central and good value
Very helpful multilingual receptionist, offered free welcome drink, directions and help with the room heating. Room quiet despite overlooking street. Not disturbed in the morning by cleaners or other guests. Individually themed rooms are a nice touch. Free water and hot drinks in rooms. Very competitively priced given its location.

A nice simple hotel which was a little expensive. Great reception on checking in by the staff. The first beer was given for free.

Das Zimmer war nicht riesig, aber ausreichend groß. An der Sauberkeit war nichts auszusetzen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die beiden einzigen Kritikpunkte ist die Lage mit der Nähe zur stark befahrenen Hindenburgstraße und die sehr enge Zufahrt zur Tiefgarage. Den Stern Abzug gebe ich wegen der Tiefgarage.

Sauber und ruhig. Nur ein paar Minuten zu Bahnhof und Fußgängerzone. Rezeption im Hotel nebenan.

Sehr gutes Business-Hotel in praktischer Lage
Nur wenige Gehminuten vom Hauptbahnhof ist dieses Hotel. Die Zimmer sind schöner, als es das Äußere des Gebäude vermuten lässt. Alles ist praktisch eingerichtet. Ich konnte meine Fenster öffnen und genoss die Ruhe des Hinterhofs (mit kaum genutzten Parkplatz). Der Aufzug war bei Anreise leider kaputt, doch das Personal half beim Gepäck.

Sadly this review was not made by guest.The booker and person that paid had issues with the management due to horrible anger management on his side and left this bad review.The guest that stayed was quite happy with us and everything else.

Schönes, kleines Hotel in zentraler Lage! Dennoch sehr ruhig - gerade die Zimmer Richtung Innenhof! Nettes & engagiertes Team. Für meinen Geschmack vielleicht etwas hellhörig sonst alles top!

Vom Empfang bis zum check out lief alles besser als vorgestellt, beim verlassen gab die Tagschicht sogar was leckeres fur Unterwegs :) Empfehlenswert !

Perfect place to visit the area
We had a great time at Hotel Stay Essen. The location is perfect to visit the city and the surroundings, close to everything. The room was comfortable, clean and well furnished. People who runs the hotels are really nice, they provided bottles of water and even some chocolates. I think we were lucky to have a room on the courtyard because the road is very busy all the time, parking was easy and cheap. Overall a perfect place, I would definitely choose that hotel again when I come back to Essen.

Compared to the pictures, the place is quite simpel and appears a bit improvised in some regards. Some of the rooms are in a building next door with the charm of a local public administration - the rooms are nice though but much smaller than what is indicated in the booking system

Freundliche Rezeption. Stellt man jedoch eine Frage, die die junge Dame im Redefluss unterbricht, ist sie ahnungslos. Ich erwarte von einer Rezeption, dass man sich in der Stadt auskennt. Das angekündigte Boxspring Bett entpuppte sich als viel zu weiche Billigvariante, schrecklich geschlafen. Die Wände zum Zimmernachbarn sich hauchdünn, man hört jedes Räuspern. Zur Not ok, aber lieber woanders.

Wir hatten ein ganz tolles Zimmer. Für den günstigen Preis haben wir weitaus weniger erwartet. Was wir besonders gut fanden, war das Angebot für gekühltes, kostenloses Wasser unten im Hotel, sowie die Möglichkeit Tee und Kaffee auf den Zimmern zuzubereiten. Auch der Service war sehr freundlich und die Hygiene war sehr gut. Die Betten sind sehr gemütlich. Leider gab es keine Klimaanlage, aber dafür einen Turmventilator, eine gute Lösung.

Very hot in the room we had. No AC. (Summer) Perfect location from the railwaystation and and the Centrum. Free water bottle for guest. Personal speaks good English.

Wenn man dieses Hotel wählt, sollte man auch unbedingt dieses tolle Frühstücksbuffet nutzen. Die Zimmer sind gross und geräumig

Rezeption sehr freundlich. Frühstück wirklich gut. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist nur, dass man vom eigentlichen Hotel über 30 m am Gehsteig (an der frischen Luft, durch den Schnee!!) zum Frühstücksraum im Nachbarhaus gehen muss, wo auch die Rezeption ist.
