Barbecue advertised as working but it was rusted and falling apart, extremely moldy, not useable and probably hadn't been used for years so we did not even try to use it. Window sills full of bugs and, likewise back of house on beach side and deck required 2-4 hours of cleaning to make useable and open windows for ventilation and comfotrtably use back deck We did not try to use air conditioning given the outside conditions and uncertainty...

"Our one week stay was perfect. This cottage is very well equipped with everything you can imagine. The view of the lake from the large deck and from the living space is perfect. Nothing nicer than to relax to the sound of the waves with a good book in hand."

The place is a fantastic set up with the beach steps away from the cottage. We enjoyed the little touches, like the Canada Parks pass we were able to use and access Rondaue Park during our stay. They set you up with lots of snacks and firewood, and they have hot water in the outhouse with a shower. The atmosphere was lovely to have evening fires and hang out with my pets."

"Excellent views of Lake Erie, lovely cottage with games and comfy rooms. The beach is a treasure, it’s the only cottage with secure access to the sandy beach which no one else was on, the stairs down the cliff may be a bit too much for toddlers but for teens and up it was amazing! "

"Fantastic staff and so very accommodating. I had an issue and I went to Janelle at the desk and she was amazing. Contacted the supervisor and I got one night free. I was not expecting this level of service. It was wonderful. All the staff from the cleaning staff to the front desk were absolutely amazing. Rooms were super clean. I was impressed. "

Fire extinguisher needed recharging and front door screen latch rusted and freezes when closed potentially locking us out from door lock pad to get in, We needed to loosen screw on screen door latch lock to prevent this. Likely small septic field, so request to not flush toilet paper but put into garbage bags not advertised until after we signed. Location, on lake edge with breeze and close to birding marsh could be more enjoyable with proper maintenance"
