We booked one night through Expedia, then we decided to stay a second night. I ended up getting charged for four nights. There’s way more to the story. Initially, they told me that I booked extra nights through Expedia. I told them I did not. After a long discussion and some phone calls, they then found out that it was the people at the front desk who overcharged me, I asked for my money back, now remember this is over $400 that they owe me because they took a initial fee just in case I wrecked the room or something initially. So I’m down in Erie Pennsylvania out all this money, which was all my spending money. Finally the manager of the motel realized it was all their fault, and said she was going to refund me for my complete stay which was two nights plus the money that they took. So she said she went in and asked for it to be reversed and put back into my bank account. It’s now five days later, I still don’t have my refund. I’m owed all that money. I literally had to borrow money to put gas in my car to come home. I explained to her that this was a trip from me and my daughter, I had had cancer surgery And we needed a night away, which ended up being two nights away. We thought we were going to have a nice time until all my money got taken out of my bank account from the hotel. Say I’m not happy I thought everything was rectified the motel manager Lisa seemed very nice , and offering me the free stay and my money back. Which I still don’t have.
