"A great place to stay! Everything was clean, the host was communicative, and the house was even more spacious than the pictures showed! Good water pressure in the showers and AirPlay capability on the TVs were pleasant surprises. This location was a good home base for traveling back and forth from Lexington."

Cozy cabin in the heart of horse country

"The cabin was spacious and comfortable with everything you needed. We loved watching the sunset from the beautiful back porch. Having the use of the garage was a bonus. We were in town for a wedding, but were able to enjoy some of the distilleries as everything was close by. I would also recommend a visit to Old Friends Farm for retired racehorses. I would stay here again if in the area, and highly recommend it to anyone."

"Had a great stay at in the cottage at Merimac Farms. Our hostess was very responsive with our needs and requests. Her farm is breathtaking! We were able to pet all the horses that would make friends with me and my sisters. We were blessed to have our host take us to see the foals and feed the Mama's apples. My two sisters and I all agreed that getting up close and feeding the horses was the highlight of our family vacay. The cottage is very peaceful!"

"This is a place where family memories can be made in the heart of the Bluegrass Horse Farm region. Thankfully this historical farm house and property is available for others to experience. The host was very accommodating and the check-in was easy as was check-out. The house was clean and nicely furnished. Although you are in a scenic rural area, a Kroger Marketplace and other restaurants and shops are just 3.5 miles down the road. There is so much to see and do within minutes. The pool area was fun and there are grills available and a fire pit too. Great place to let the pups run free as well as the kids. Enjoyed the big country kitchen that was well stocked.We certainly hope to return."

"This house was perfect for our little family with 2 small kiddos. The property is tucked away on the farm and it was really nice to be out in the country. I grew up in this area so it felt like being home. The house overall is a decent amount of space. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The bed in the master was very comfortable which is always a huge plus when traveling. The property is close to Versailles and Lexington. The host was great with communication. We definitely would stay here again!"

"Great property with great location. The hostess was very communicative and checked in on us daily. The cottage was cosy and clean, and the grounds looked beautiful, although we did not get to explore them or tour their vineyard due to the VERY rainy weather.The kitchen was well stocked and equipped. The bathroom was functional, but bring your own soap and shampoo. AOverall, wonderful stay and would recommend!"
