Be wear

Hard time finding place, outside door would not open, got bit by flees or mosquitoes, place all tho it looked clean in the room it was rundown. The staff was nice but that was not enough. Tv did not work, we were the only ones there, now I know why.

The property was very nice, the the staff was a little inexperienced it seem. Right away when we got there I had to tell them there was no water and I had to remind them again to turn it on the second day…the electricity went out for a few hours on our third day…lastly I thought it was a bit overpriced for Valle. No Breakfast included like is listed on Expedia nor is there a restaurant in the premises.

Yo reservé el cuarto para amigo de mi hija. Y el estuvo muy incómodo en el lugar aparte de que no había una officers para pagar y tubo que mandar el pago por Zelle. Sandra “la supuesta dueña del lugar” estaba ebria y acosando a el amigo de mi hija, cuando el no estaba en el cuarto se metieron y dejaron otras llaves en el cuarto. No le faltó nada de sus pertenencias pero que entre a una habitación para otra cosa que no es hacer la limpieza no está bien. Pero lo más importante y desagradable es que estuvieron acosando.

The Rancho palos verdes could be a great place, however, the hotel has been abandoned for a long time and the property is in very bad shape. Non the less the charged the full price. No hot water, old furniture, dusty in the our side, no place to take a coffee. But the view of the cabins is great, and the rooms can be pleasant if they invest in keeping them up.

MALA EXPERIENCIA, NO LO HAGAN. Reservé dos semanas antes de mi viaje una habitación a través de Expedia. Cuando estaba por llegar al hotel, el día de mi check in a las 4 pm me llama la dueña para decirme que lo sentía mucho pero que un empleado se había equivocado y le había dado mi habitación a otra pareja y que ya no tenía habitación para mí para esa noche ni la siguiente. Repito, me lo dijo el mero día de mi check in a las 4 de la tarde cuando yo ya no tenía margen de acción, hablé al menos a otros 7 hoteles y todos estaban llenos. Le dije que no podía hacerme eso, que tenía la confirmación de Expedia y que no me podía dejar sin lugar para dormir por un error suyo. Se puso muy grosera diciéndome que los seres humanos cometen errores y que tenía que ser más comprensiva. Le dije que ella tenía que ayudarme a resolverlo y que no me podía dejar sin lugar para dormir, me presenté en el hotel y finalmente me dieron una habitación pero pasé un muy mal momento. Ya instalada en el hotel me dijeron que tenía que pagar en efectivo o con transferencia electrónica porque no toman el pago de tarjeta de crédito hecho a través de Expedia, lo cual tampoco te lo dicen con anticipación y si no tienes los fondos en tu cuenta para pagar por el viaje total pues estás en problemas. Finalmente, la limpieza de la habitación deja mucho que desear.

Great place to stay and relax!

The place was very private and gated which felt very secure. The property was nice and the rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only thing was the tv didn’t work because cable service was down but that was okay we ended up listening to music instead. The place was very quite and would definitely go back to stay again

I like the fact that the property was small and quaint. But I did not like the fact that none of my information was taken upon arrival. I also didn’t like the fact that our stay had to be paid in cash upon arrival. In addition it was very unfortunate that the showers hot water only last five minutes.

This is an addendum to "bait and switch" review

We have settled with Sandra the manager for 50% discount due to her overbooking her resort and we had to use the manager room. If you are able to stay at Cabanas Rancho Palos Verdes, the pictures of units look great, the location is great in beautiful Valle de Guadalupe.

Bait and Switch NOT WHAT WAS ADVERTISED!!

My husband and I booked a weekend stay at Cabaña Rancho Palos Verde, Valle de Guadalupe on 5/21 through Expedia for 8/4 -8/6. We received our confirmation and paid $460 upfront to the owner Sandra. We we're very excited because the rooms looked beautiful. SHOPPERS BEWARE!!! They only have 8 units. Sandra took our full payment and put us in a unit that is spare unit that faces a concrete wall. The husband was very nice and said it seemed they were over booked. I understand over bookings happen but she could've told us that prior to giving her the full payment and we would've gone elsewhere. When the husband took us to the unit we told him it was not worth $460 and he agreed and said they would give us 40% back so we said k. Later we texted Sandra to confirm and she said there aren't any rooms available in Valle de Guadalupe (which means we are at her mercy) how about $60 back and a bottle of wine. WOW really!! My husband and I did not want to ruin our weekend and talked about it and said lets just agree and move on. My husband replied to her and said fine and then she came back with how about 60% off the next time you come back. Which is what they charge for regular season. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! It wasn't so much about the money but the principle here are some pictures of the room we were put in which was not worth $460. We did not get anything back except a bottle of wine that was probably worth $20. I posted the pictures in their Google website

A Perfect Weekend Getaway

Absolutely stunning! These private cabanas sit on a gorgeous winery and are perfect for a weekend away from city life. There is a common, outdoor patio/bar area where people hang out and relax after a long day of wine tasting. Truly an amazing place to stay!

Great Surprise

very nice place to stay when Visiting Valle de Guadalupe, very comfortable Cabañas with all the modern amenities. The views from the cabanas balconies are amazing. Great service and very friendly attention from staff.
