The Hobby House (Mount Pleasant Tavern) was built in 1806 as an inn and tavern for weary travelers on the journey inland from Charleston in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The guest cottage is one of the original structures, this one-of-a-kind lodging is conveniently located 8 min from Woodruff, SC, 15 min from Spartanburg, SC and 40 min from downtown Greenville.
