    Located down a private drive on beautiful Manasota Key, this beachfront home property is on the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

    This six bedroom, three bathroom home has plenty of space for a family or two to enjoy the courtyard heated pool and spa, surrounded by the lush
    native Florida landscape.

    The large fully-equipped kitchen with island is adjacent to the family room (sectional has a sleep sofa) and outdoor dining on the beach-side patio

    A few steps from the patio is a waterfront deck with stairs down to the beautiful Manasota Key Beach, which is a private beach that has clear green-blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

    Miles of beach for walking and collecting shells, swimming, playing in the sand or fishing from the beach which is only a few steps from the house.

    The large combination living, dining room, and wet bar area is perfect for entertaining and gathering!

    Off of the kitchen there are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and another with two twin beds with a bathroom in between.

    Upstairs master suite has two walk-in closets with Gulf view, and another Queen bedroom/office with built-in shelving and view of the Gulf with balconies.

    There is plenty of parking with the detached two-car garage, and driveway.

    Manasota Key is not far from four major airports: Tampa (TPA), Sarasota (SRQ), Clearwater (PIE), and Fort Myers (RSW).

    The island location is close to fine and casual dining, beach bars and entertainment, and only a short distance to the mainland where you will find all your shopping needs.

    The outdoor deck or pool area is the perfect spot to enjoy your first cup of coffee to starts the day. In the early evening walk down to the beach with a glass of wine or cocktail to watch the beautiful sunsets.

Great location and awesome house

It is exactly how it is described on the listing and more. Right on the beach and pool in the front yard with almost all the amenities needed. If I have to say anything constructive, it will be about lighting in the bed rooms (no lights on the ceiling, small table lamps) and some detailed instructions on using the pool remote will be awesome.

Perfect gateway

We wanted to get away for my mothers 81st Birthday and this was the prefect choice for a beach gateway. The house is big enough for for a family of eight. It is very peaceful and loved that the beach is right there. We hope we can come back soon. Thank you Andrew.

Family Beach Vacation

What a wonderful stay our family had at this beautiful beach house. Right on a fantastic beach with a swimming pool, large house had plenty of room for everyone. We grilled out on the patio, overlooking the beach. Collected seashells, watched the sunset with beautiful colors. Our host Andrew was great. Also a great cleaning lady, Shelly. We hated to leave. But are already making plans for another stay.

The home was spacious. Had all that we needed. Enjoyed being able to go right into the beach. Option of the pool was nice. The trees out next to the beach and deck needs to be trimmed so that space is used more. The grass next to the back patio could use some trimming to so we could see the beach.

Beautiful home, and location- that has it all. the lay out of the house is perfect, the beach is directly behind a large deck, the brick walk ways are quaint, the pool area is clean and relaxing, listening to the ocean waves -amazing- a morning swim to wake up to is so relaxing. a night beach swim is healing , the outdoor patio and griiling area was a joy for my husband -we played cornhole on the beach everyone is so happy. my son and GF walked to the shops for souvenirs. oh and the turtle patrol came in the am the a turtle laid some eggs ( once in 30 years) WOW thank you Andrew for helping me and I like to suggest to all to print out your instruction sheet with all passcodes etc ASAP ;)

Englewood, ocean front aged and needs improvement

The house back when it was built must have been fabulous in the 90's for it needs a gob of tlc for what it commands in an evening rental, especially when you can only heat the "heated pool, by using hot tub", by the second to the last day pool was "tolerable to get into" without doing a "polar plunge". Stayed in the rental Dec 21-29. and needed the full stay to warm the pool by using hot tub for the heater, as directed by the property manager. Carpeting: disgusting dirty, was told its cleaned 2x a year but at the level of dirt and puke staining in bedroom/family room areas made me question. Chipped, peeling paint in many rooms. The house def needs a freshening. This isn't "my first big house w pool rental" and was "one of the worst" for the buck. Now the house's location on the beach, beautiful. How the house was seated on its' lot, that was beautiful too. Restaurants in the local area were "good food" did some breakfast and dinner places. Not too far from stores, parks and the like. Uber allowed some to get to and from airport. This would be a fantastic piece of property of rental if it was refreshed, bug control used and a bit more or the "rug cleaning"...my socks were black within minutes each day, so it's either the tile floors or the carpeting. When we arrived "old guests" stockpiles of shells and what not were left by the pool area and then on the deck by the Gulf of Mexico. Bring EVERYTHING for this is a "minimalist place", make sure to bring everything.

Great family vacation!

Great location and beautiful view. Home layout was comfortable for eight adults provided options for ‘team pool’ and ‘team ocean’. Beach is a bit shelly for the tenderfoot. But we spotted a manatee and a turtle! The house was clean. The cleaners were still there at check-in. The pool was clean and treated. The pool maintained person even stopped by during our stay. A bit of bad news…the insect problem you’ve read about in previous reviews. Bad. We left nothing out and kept everything sanitized, sealed, and refrigerated. But the German roaches and ants were persistent in the dishwasher and under the sink. The instructions will say not to treat them. We’ve rented several houses in Florida. I regret to report this one was the worst in this regard. That said, the house is nice, if a bit outdated. Shag carpeting. With the exception of the study which was very nice.. The upstairs carpeting was stained. The ice maker at the bar doesn’t work. The back patio grill is rickety with inconsistent hot spots. The rusted and broken patio chairs need to be removed. (The remaining chairs were still enough to accommodate us) And the blinds for the sliding glass door to the back patio were set to the side so we were limited in being able to minimize the light disturbance to the turtles. My family had a good time. Our friends were very comfortable. Like I said the location and layout were great. But with extra efforts when you’re supposed to be on vacation.

Family vacay

We had 6 adults staying in this home. Pros and cons. Pros: location and view! Right on the water, step off the deck and you are on the beach! The deck was also nice for morning coffee and star gazing at night. Plenty of room for everyone and the AC worked great! Fun little beach town to explore. Cons: the pool had a film on it that was gross when we got there. Now in Andrew’s defense I did not tell him about this until day we left because we had no desire to use pool when beach was right there. I did try turning on spa per the directions given and nothing happened. I had read this in earlier reviews as well. I know this is Florida and bugs exist but we did come home one night to quite a few roaches and ants in kitchen. We quickly learned to not leave food out and take out the trash in the evening. There was some bug spray I found but we had to buy more. It is stated that there is a minimal amount of supplies in home. That is very true. Had to buy more TP, which you have to use 2 ply or less, dishwasher detergent, and barely had enough trash bags. In 2 of the bathrooms water was added to hand soap to fill it up. I had read this on an earlier review too. We have rented lots of places and have never had this happen. House is pretty clean. As stated in other reviews the carpet needs to be taken out. Not cleaned, replaced! It makes the house look dirty. But bathrooms and kitchen were clean. All in all it was a good house and served us well!

Englewood Beach Vacation

Plenty of beach towels, it has coffee maker and toaster oven but for extras in the kitchen there was hardly enough, had to wash dishes each meal. Luckily we had family staying in places close by that had all the kitchen gadgets we needed! The house was perfect for a place to get together and beach and pool time!

Improvements Needed

I could not get the dishwasher to work, therefore the dishes did not get cleaned. There was no hair dryer. May I suggest trimming the grass in the back so that the ocean is visible from inside. Also, have a rake accessible to clean the beach area from dried seaweed and such. We did enjoy our stay very much.
