The Pinnacle - OCEANFRONT Home. Amazing Views, Pool, Hot Tub, 2 Kitchens, Deck

Sitting atop one of the highest dunes and nestled in the heart of the town of Emerald Isle, its all about the views and amenities at this updated 8 bedroom, 6 bathroom island getaway. It offers expansive direct south facing ocean front views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean from east to west, with a large oceanfront pool , hot tub, and very spacious oceanfront Trex deck. The home was originally set up as duplex, but now is offered as single family rental!

This means TWO kitchens, TWO family rooms, and TWO laundry rooms each with a washer/dryer set.

The POOL can also be **HEATED** at an additional cost. Please inquire in advance of your stay if interested to get pricing for the number of nights!

A covered gazebo leads to the private beach access.

The private oceanfront pool and hot tub with arguably one of the best views they can offer, overlooking the ocean as far as you can see , with views of the pier in the distance.

Both sides are connected by an interior door in the main living area. So stay separated, or open up for access to both sides of the home. Great for large groups and family gatherings.

There are two full kitchens and two family rooms in this home, one on each side.

Overall, EACH side hosts:

Master bedroom, with its own private large bathrooms and an amazing personal oceanfront balcony overlooking the deck, with unobstructed views of the island as far as the eye can see.
Upstairs Queen bedroom
Upstairs bunk bed room with two sets of twin bunks (4 beds in room).
Downstairs Queen room on main living level near the kitchen, with a connecting full bathroom.

The master bedrooms on both sides have their own bathroom with tub and shower. The other bedrooms upstairs share a full hallway bathroom. The downstairs queen bedrooms have a connecting bathroom, that shares a door with the main living space.

Convenient spacious laundry rooms with washer and dryer on each side.
There is also a gas grill on each side.
The outdoor space with a gorgeous view here is simply stunning!

Pictures don’t do it justice

Great property! Everyone enjoyed the house, the pool and the beach. Everything was clean and well stocked. The pictures don’t do it justice. It is spacious with great views. Two kitchens made it so easy for us to prepare meals for the whole gang. Owners were very responsive every step of the way.

Amazing views, clean and spacious, perfect for groups

I stayed with a few friends for a spiritual retreat, and this house was perfect. Owners were very kind, responsive, and accommodating. The house was clean and spacious, with two kitchens and two living rooms that connect via a door, which enabled us to have separate gatherings and conversations when we wanted. The pool was heated! The best part was the view of and access to the beach. I’ve stayed at oceanfront homes but none with such close views of the waves and quick access to the beach. We hope to come back soon! 10/10.

Always love the Beach!!

Thanks so much for a lovely stay! We really loved the nice bright house, the open setup between sides, the pool, and hot tub. Especially loved the sofa on the West Side! And the ocean was spectacular as always. It's a wonderful place overall.

Amazing location and house for family reunion

Fantastic location, we all enjoyed being on the beach and using the pool and hottub. House well appointed and allowed for different age groups to relax. A suggestion would be to power wash the carport area by the driveway and also the trash cans. Thank you for a wonderful setting for great family memories!

Family Getaway

My extended family came down for what might be the last time we will all get together and rented a bunch of houses near each other. This home was far and away the best place and quickie became the gathering place for all. It is spacious, clean, nicely located and the Ocean views are unmatched! We were blessed to find this place and will ABSOLUTELY return!

"Family Memories, Family Fun with Fabulous Ocean Views"

Our family has been going to the Emerald Isle area for over 30 years and "The Pinnacle" has the best view of the ocean we have ever stayed at. You can be on any floor of the home and have an amazing view. The pool and hot tub were marvelous. The home was clean and had all the kitchen utensils, bedding and toiletries we needed. "Best value in Emerald Isle".Looking forward to our next visit.

Fantastic spring stay

We had a wonderful time at The Pinnacle. This was our family’s second stay at this home - both trips have been fantastic. The house is well-equipped for a large group, spacious, and very comfortable. The multi-level deck and large, heated pool are exceptional, and the views from the balcony and deck can’t be beat. The hosts are gracious and responsive. We hope to be back again soon!

Great Host and House

House was absolutely fantastic, Stephanie was a great host who was readily avaiable via the VRBO app and was very accommodating. Pool and hot tub were a hit and convenience to restaurants and stores was about a mile or so. House was super clean, den furniture was really confortable. House has a lot of parking and great common areas to hang out in. Veiws are great, you just cant go wrong here!!

Ocean Front Family Time

We rented both sides. Paid for the heated pool. . . So worth it! Hot Tub was very large. . . Another plus! Communication with the Owners was a pleasure. Home was clean, spacious, and completely as advertised. Will definitely be re-booking this property for Ocean Front Family Time!

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the house. Location is perfect. Views are spectacular. Cleaning crew worked right until the 4pm check in time because "the previous occupants left the place a mess." They did an awesome job. The house was spotless when we checked in. We found two small plumbing issues the day we checked in, and the management company had them corrected the next morning seamlessly. Overall, an awesome experience and we would gladly go back.

Fabulous location for twin houses

We had a wonderful time staying at the Pinacle. The houses are airy and well maintained. The pool is superb, the beach not crowded, there are plenty of chairs, well equipped kitchens, fabulous laundry facility. Everything worked out great for our extended family of 10. If you stay, it is best to use the vacuum cleaner provided to keep the house sand free or at least as much as possible. Enjoy!

Amazing views!

We were friends and families enjoying a week at the beach. The house is mirror image on each side and great for multi-families - two living rooms/two kitchens, single doorway between two living rooms is only connection. Plenty of space for kids and adults to be both together and separate. The pool was great- heater worked well which has not been true at some other places we have rented. Kitchens were adequately equipped. Location (~1.5 from grocery, ABC store, etc) is perfect. Easy walk down beach to pier and pier restaurant if you need a night out. Owner contact (minimal necessary for our stay) was easy and quick response.

Beautiful Views!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pinnacle and it was perfectly set up for our family. The beautiful large back decks were wonderful for enjoying your morning coffee and watching the sun rise. Both kitchens are fully stocked with everything you could need and stores are located within walking/biking distance or a quick 5 minute drive. The pool was picturesque and the hot tub was wonderful for evening soaks after pool time. Only negative we had was there was quite a bit of garbage in the dunes so we tried to clean some of that up and a few bugs on the exterior of the home that we noticed but that was it! My sister-in-law accidentally left something at the house after our check out and the host graciously allowed us access to retrieve those items. 10/10 we would stay again and hope to next year!

What More Can You Ask For?

My family decided to take a quick, early-year getaway down to Emerald Isle from Raleigh. It was one of the best decisions we’ve made in a long time. Though we were there for only a couple of days, this property truly helped us hit the reset button heading into spring! The furniture was comfortable, clean, and very relaxing; much of it seemed to be brand new. The pool was everything it was explained to be, and more. While we were there, temperatures were in the 50s and 60s, which would’ve kept us from even considering getting in the water on any other vacation. This pool’s heated feature completely changed that for us! It was the highlight of our stay. The kids spent hours in it, as did I. Just imagine audible waves crashing in the background as you stare up at the star filled sky while taking a midnight swim. As my header asks, what more can you ask for? The combination of comfort, space, amenities, and oceanfront location make this property hard to match…not to mention the cozy hometown feel of Emerald Isle itself. We’ve been to many oceanfront properties as a family, but this one is hard to match. Do yourself a favor and try it out!

Awesome in Everyway!

This home was perfect for 5 of my single children and my husband and I. My 82 yr old mother-in-law also joined us. My MIL was able to sleep on the first floor on one side and my kids could be on the other side in the living area with the adjoining door closed hanging out without disturbing. The two kitchens were perfect! We deemed one the "baking" kitchen and the other a "meal prep" kitchen. The pool and hot tub were awesome and were well used in the evenings. Loved the views from the deck and balcony. The gazebo was a nice touch as my MIL could sit and rest after taking short walks before coming up the steps inside. The view there was also breathtaking. The only thing that was an issue is that the many steps to/from the beach from the main level were a challenge for my 82 yr old MIL. Also, as she had to sleep on the main floor the bathroom she used had a low toilet which she struggled getting up and down on and couldn't take a shower since she couldn't step into the tub. Because of these things if you have someone who is physically challenged this house is not for you. Overall , despite the challenges, it was a great week for our family. We would definitely rent it again if my MIL was not with us.

First time with VRBO, a little different?

Let me preface with, I understand it was the end of the season. The house we chose was both sides of a duplex because we needed two king bedrooms and at least 4 queen bedrooms to accommodate the six couples and a one year old. We’ve been to Emerald Isle many times and the Pinnacle seemed to fit all of our needs with a pool and large deck. Pros: The double kitchens were great. The aforementioned pool was fantastic. The views were amazing, as well as the proximity to shopping. Cons: The description of the house mentions that one of the master bedrooms has a kids bed. It does not. My family would probably never be described as neat freaks, but the owners desperately need a new cleaning service. We were all surprised by the overall cleanliness of the house at check in. Yes, it’s the beach. Done it 15-20 times, but the amount of dust on the nightstands and dressers was crazy. The floors were sticky like they weren’t really mopped. My bigger concerns were the condition of the showers. The doors had lots of mildew and the shower floors weren’t very clean. The linen service wasn’t much better. Sheets and pillowcases were way past their lifespan. Fortunately, the towels were better and plentiful. I’m a little meh on the actual value for the cost. I’ve certainly spent more on some places and spent less for others. Overall, my family had a great time because we were all together and the beach is always a great vacation! I just have to give some thought if I’ll use VRBO again.

This is a beautiful property. Plenty of room to accommodate our eleven adults and one grandchild. The pool and hot tub got a lot of use through the week. Both were clean and well maintained. Deck space was plenty for our group to spread out. Great ocean view and nice, clean beach. The two kitchens was a nice plus (especially the two refrigerators- one for food, one for beverages. Would happily stay here again.

Our family had a wonderful time at this vacation home. Plenty of room , and the mattresses was nice ! That’s hard to find in vacation property. Had a problem with the upstairs air when we arrived , but it was fixed in the same day . Enjoy the location , the pool was a nice , and we had a blast

Host was extremely responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed the location and property. Such a beautiful spot. House is likely in need of renovation as some amenities are dated/need of repair but I believe it was reflected in the price of the property. Would stay there again!

House was not clean, sand in the beds, issues with HVAC, needs indoor repairs which were reported but left undone (towel rack stopped up bath tub).All pots, pans are in need of replacement. Size of bedrooms are deceiving in online photos.

Perfect location!

We booked the Pinnacle for our annual family beach trip and it was perfect!! There were plenty of bedrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. The pool was perfect for the kids and the hot tub was just what the adults needed. Highly recommend this property and we hope to make this our annual rental!

Great owner and property management support!!

This was the 2nd time staying here and it did not disappoint once again. House has tons of room, lots of parking and the views are incredible. Unfortunately, 1 of the units had a mechanical failure on one of the upstairs AC's but the property management effort and immediate response was spot on the money. They made things right, they stayed and worked until we were happy. The unit was repaired ASAP and communication was A. No complaints whatsoever and would love the opportunity to stay here again!!
