  • The Emerald cottage is a charming, fully renovated 1950s beach cottage one block to the beach! Hear ocean waves from the master bedroom w/ a queen bed, en-suite bath & claw foot tub. Enjoy your morning coffee on the private deck or gather together in the open living area. There’s a hall bath & guest bedroom with desk area too! Unique & cozy, this cottage has it all with modern amenities, family fun, bikes a fire-pit, hot tub, a 3 minute walk to the beach access at the end of both streets on either side of the cottage! It’s pet friendly & close to city center!

    There are 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with an outdoor shower as well, to clean off after the fun beach days! The master bedroom en suite has a queen bed with clawfoot tub, water closet, pedestal sink and closet. The hall bath is next to the guest bedroom that has a double bed with a closet and a desk area to work from home. Call bathhouse a tile shower, toilet and sink. The stackable washer and dryer are in the hallway next to the bathroom for your convenience while staying in the cottage. The cottage is fully renovated with all new appliances. There are TVs in both bedrooms and a large TV in the living room for those cozy movie nights together. Private backyard with outdoor seating for your morning coffee or grill dinner on the deck, and a hot tub for relaxing and the firepit for fun cozy nights! And with tons of beach gear for all the beach days and bikes, exploring is a breeze! Public beach access is just down the block so the walk is about 3 minutes. What more could you ask for!

Great location. Very quick walk to public access to get to the beach. Living area was very comfortable. The overall space is very quaint and the decor is charming but felt tight for only two people and two dogs. Yard is in need of some maintenance. Kitchen has a really small fridge and stove is more suitable for an RV.

Cozy Fall Visit

My family travels to the area fairly often and we do enjoyed our time in this cozy home; it’s very close to public beach access for walking and otherwise close to the beach-y visitor attractions :) The house itself is adorable, cozy, and enjoyable to stay in. Communication was great, too!

We had a great stay at the cottage with our three children and dogs. There was plenty of sleeping room for everyone. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for the week. I loved that the shed had all the beach essentials: wagon, chairs, beach umbrella so I didn't need to buy and hall those items with us :)

Perfect Beach Getaway!

I enjoyed my stay at this darling beach home. It’s so quaint and has every you need. Decor was done so nicely! Beach supplies available and fire pit in the yard looked great but rainy days made it difficult for me to use. Walk to beach in less than 5 min. Great area to bike and take long walks. I would love to return!!

The Emerald Cottage is beautifully appointed, masterfully renovated, and perfectly located for a quiet getaway to the Emerald Isle area. The 2BR/2BA layout has ample privacy and plenty of room for a small family or even two couples (and a pet!). We’ll be back!

Stacy was a fantastic host. She was very helpful with navigating the area and any questions we had. The cottage was perfect for myself, hubby and fur baby. Very well stocked. My family had a wonderful stay at this quaint boho cottage. The location and decor were as listed. We loved the private location. You can’t see the ocean from the property but you can hear it and the secludedness of it made it special. The area is safe and walk to the beach was easy. All of the necessities were as listed.
