Der Rosengarten in der Kurfüstlichen Burg Eltville am Rhein wurde 1979 angelegt. Er beheimatet über 350 verschiedene Rosensorten von historischen Rosen, Kletterrosen bis zu 10 Metern Höhe und japanischen Rosen. Die Rosen befinden sich im Burggarten, aber auch im historischen Burggraben sowie an der Rheinpromenade. Darunter sind zahlreiche sehr seltene Rosensorten. Seit 1988 ist Eltville am Rhein als Rosenstadt des Vereins Deutscher Rosenfreunde anerkannt. Jährlich Anfang Juni lädt die Stadt zur Veranstaltung "Rosentage" nach Eltville am Rhein ein. Im Sommer blühen über 10.000 Rosen.
