Loved it!
Great place! Very comfy. Both hosts were amazing! Sherri was very nice and let us know of the shelter in the property because of bad weather coming in. The other host, Mr kitty. He escorted us around the property made sure we got all of our things in the car and said his goodbyes. Zero complaints from us. Thanks for a wonderful, quiet place.

Calm and Relaxing
This was a great place to stay. It truly provided me the peaceful setting I needed to do some healing. The cabin was clean and the owners were prompt at responding. I enjoyed walking around the property and sitting by the fire. I highly recommend this Vrbo. It was wonderful!

Great remote
Loved the farm with horses, donkeys, ponies, lamas and guineas. Great space with our 2 dogs, Howdy and Audie. They also loved Laverne and Shirley, the farm cats.

Lovely place
This is a beautifully maintained ranch with llamas, longhorn, goats, horses, mini-horses, and donkeys that will come up to the fences for attention, and we fed them apples/carrots. The cabin is small/simple, but has everything it needs. Initially doesn't seem as isolated as we hoped, but then we realized the other buildings are barn/storage, ranch house had no traffic, and we only encountered one nice person who had arrived to check on all the animals. The directions to cabin are spot-on and not too far from Elmore City or Davis to get food/supplies. The hottub has a cute little shed of its own. We were there while very cold out, but it looks like in summer there are nice shady areas to sit outside. The two orange cats Laverne & Shirley were fabulous and followed us on every walk.

Love the animals!!!
Laverne and Shirley are the coolest cats I have ever met. Loved them so much. Everyone was friendly and the best breakfast in town is Grannie and Pops. It was so good just wish we could have gone there for every meal. I already wanna go back

Relaxing Place
My wife and I stayed in the bunkhouse for 2 nights celebrating our anniversary. We brought along our two dogs. Being on the ranch in nice weather was very relaxing. We enjoyed the animals, fire pit, and hot tub. One minor thing--the hot tub could use stronger jets for old muscles! The orange cat that greeted us outside the cabin when we arrived was super friendly. He was on the porch almost the entire time we were there and got along well with the dogs.

Oklahoma Weekend Getaway
We had so much fun on our trip! The cabin was adorable and it was perfect for me, my husband, and our two boys (3 and 2). The property was beautiful and the animals were fun to interact with. The cabin was only a 20 minute drive from several fun things to do in the area, like Turner Falls and the Arbuckle Wilderness. We will definitely be returning!

Good stay
It’s a nice little cabin close to Turner falls, directions really need updated though. We spent 45 minutes looking for a sign that apparently was changed a year ago. It’s no longer called Flying D, we weren’t getting very good service either so that was frustrating.

We had a wonderful time chasing waterfalls all over the county. Our stay at the cabin was very peaceful and quiet. We had a few small minor problems upon our arrival but our host quickly took care of us. We will definitely come again to stay. Only complaint I wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you.

So sweet and cozy!
We loved this property very much. It was so fun and the pictures don’t do it justice! The animals are just precious. We fed them carrots and this morning both the horses, both the donkeys, and all the goats were at their property fences waiting for us. The two cats are awesome and so fun. The bed and sofa are very comfy. And we made great use of the fire pit and grill. Also, it’s just a short drive to big attractions such as Turner Falls and Arbuckle Wildness. And there’s a great grocery store in Elmore City (an easy find 10-15 mins away) that has an awesome selection of items. The hosts were excellent and very speedy with their communication. The cabin was very clean. We hope to go back soon! I already miss it!

We loved our stay here. So peaceful. We loved the accommodations, the fire pit, feeding the horses and donkeys was a highlight as well as 2 of the sweetest cats. Our dog Lily was a little nervous but she quickly adapted to being on a leash and was comfortable around the cats and even went with me to feed the animals. We will definitely be back!! Peace and quiet
The pictures don't do this place justice. The bunkhouse was roomy and cozy. Our favorite part was being able to walk the property and feed the horses, donkeys, lamas, tiny horses, goats and bulls. Chickasaw NRE is nearby and I highly recommend visiting. The trails and waterfalls are great. Come back and relax your tired legs in the spa.

We absolutely loved our stay at this location! The land was peaceful & quiet, the animals were adorable -waking up to them on every side of us, being able to have coffee & pet ponies simultaneously in my slippers was an incredibly relaxing experience. I personally used the hot tub a handful of times & it was the cherry on top of an adventurous day exploring. The cats hanging around were super friendly, even my yorkie & dachshund loved them! The AC was cold, the shower was hot, the bedding was comfy, & we all had plenty of room to relax despite it being one large room. We took advantage of fishing at the pond (didn’t catch anything but still had fun), we built a fire in the nice pit setup beside the house & made s’mores with kiddos while we saw the effects of the super moon bright & clear, far from any city ambience. During our stay we encountered an armadillo & a turtle & that really made the kids happy being so up close with nature. 10/10 would stay here again. Thank you for providing such a private, relaxing place to escape for the 4th of July!

This place was amazing. Was the perfect place for our relaxing girls weekend. The cabin was cute and cozy. We loved the two cats that adopted us for the weekend they were great. We were greeted by the alpacas, horses,goats and donkeys. If you stay don't forget to bring the apples and carrots, we loved feeding them. The hospitality was great. The host was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning!

The cabin was tucked back in trees with various animals on all sides. The hot tub and fire pit were nice for relaxing after a long day of adventuring. The cabin was very comfortable and cozy. Plenty of room to not feel stuffy.

The stay at the ranch
It was clean. It isnt really pet friendly. The owner said the pond almost dried up and killed all the fish, and the horse back riding isnt a thing owner said 1 horse isnt really even broke and spooks easy and the other horse hears a twig snap and starts running. He said that that really isny a option cause or insurance liability purposes. You cant leave your pets alone at all even if you wanted to go to town for a hour. The wife and i stayed 1 night than checked out on a 4 day vacation. The 2 online adds says on site activities was horse back riding and fishing and really couldn't do eather. I asked for a partials refund and the owner said he didnt say we couldn't ride the horses (ya if i wanted to get thrown off and break my neck) and he didnt say we couldn't fish just said all the fish were dead. So ya all in all it really sucked so id say it was false advertising.

Clinton, I'm not sure where to begin. First, I want to apologize for your negative experience. It’s only fair to address each complaint you listed because we are worlds apart on facts. We’ve never offered horseback riding. This is not listed on our VRBO site nor our Website. We also NEVER discussed anything in regards to an insurance liability or a spooky horse. These comments are completely fabricated and unfair. We've never had anyone say this isn't a pet friendly environment. This was a very strange comment. Most of our guests bring pets. Actually, the pets have more fun than our 2 legged guests. This place is heaven for dogs. Not being able to leave your dogs alone is not the ranch’s problem. Our guests leave their dogs alone all day sometimes. Regarding our fishing conversation, again, untrue and unfair. Nobody mentioned anything about the fish being dead. I explained that we’re coming off a 30 year drought and the larger pond in the back would be your best bet. I then gave instructions on how to get there. My wife and I had a great conversation with you and your wife. You both seemed very happy. You had two minor issues that you brought to our attention. You first stated the new fridge didn’t work which ended up being incorrect. You then complained about the new Keurig not working. When a new one was soon delivered, you let us know that was also ‘user error’. The two complaints were addressed immediately. Which made it surprising you left without giving us a chance to correct. Leaving a 1-star review because we would not refund your stay is not fair to a small business owner. This is peak season for us. We had plenty of other guests willing to take your place. We have worked tirelessly to make sure every guest has great experience. Our reputation proves this. Deciding to leave early was your decision. We did witness heavy arguing which ultimately might be the real reason your time was cut short and left without giving us a chance to resolve.

Quiet and Cozy!
My wife and I celebrated our one year anniversary and just wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle. This nice little studio cabin was a perfect place to get away. We saw deer early in the mornings. We walked the ranch and fed all the animals we went to the store in town and got some carrots. we had a fire the whole ordeal. Will be bringing our kids back here. My only downside was the pond was dried up a little bit, so I didn’t get to fish but that’s not a deal killer or the owners fault.

Wow! What a beautiful place! I brought my daughter & 2 of her friends for a couple of days over Spring Break. We absolutely loved staying here. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. And we LOVED the two ginger cats that must belong to the property owners. They both made our stay very enjoyable. The only issue we had was finding the cabin. I did put the address into my maps, but didn't know until i was lost, that i needed to go to the ranch address. That was probably my fault. Overall, i highly recommend this property. I wish we could come back today!! Thank you for everything!!

This was the perfect place to relax and spend quality time for our anniversary. We are in a crazy busy season of our life, which we love, but we needed a little time for each other. Property was quiet, hot tub was wonderful, and the sweet farm kitties were a bonus.

Girls trip!
Great place to stay. Very quiet and safe from city life. The bunk house was open space allowed us to be comfortable and visit with each other. The spa was a very relaxing bonus. Lots of animals on the property. We fed the horses and donkeys carrots. Very docile older dog and kittens came to say hello. Thanks for such a peaceful and siren good time to spend in the nature.

We stayed 5 nights at this cozy cabin on a beautiful ranch surrounded by nature, horses, goats, llamas, donkeys, chickens & the sweetest ranch dog named Cub & 2 kittens. We might have spoiled them a bit. Haha The hot tub was nice once we had it cleaned. The water was the perfect temp in the summer evenings. My husband found this place to rent for my 50th birthday. The main reason was to take me to Turner Falls & what a added bonus it was to stay in the cozy Bunkhouse at the Flying D ranch. We will definitely be going back! PS.. you might bring your own TP if you are some what picky. Lol

It’s a cosy studio cabin. No bedrooms- all open area. No WiFi as well. It fit my family of 4 well, but would be crowded if we had more. They have lots of animals on the land, but you need to bring your own food to feed them. Not updated or super fancy, but very cute and clean.

Had a great, private time in Katie, OK. Animals were great, just make sure you wear bug killer when hiking. The ticks are abundant. Loved the hot tub, great after a long day. Will be back.
