We had a great stay on our side by side getaway! The property and amenities were great and the location was perfect for trail access and other locations we wanted to see. Jay communicated everything very well and was responsive to any questions we had. Also plenty of parking for our trailers which is very hard to find. We will be back!!
The cabin was centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit: Charlevoix, Petosky, Our family had a great time and loved that everyone had their own rooms. The weather was chilly but that certainly wasn’t the host’s fault … we were thankful for a fireplace.
This house is everything you could ask for in Northern Michigan. It was very clean, spacious, and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will definitely rent again in the future. Jay was awesome to deal with.
Very comfortable and spacious. Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels for washrooms, hot tub and sauna. Comfortable seating outside. Easy drive to the Coastal Towns. Very enjoyable.
Our family enjoys a weekend away each winter and we look for a place with lots of bedrooms and at least two bathrooms. This place had what we needed with the extras such as the hot tub and sauna and use of the community pool. Not only did we enjoy our time together but also all the amenities that came with it. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. Gaylord is not far away so we spent time there as well. This place was just what we needed.
Very nice spacious home for large family, great hot tub for those sore muscles after long days ride. Little out in the boonies but definitely doable riding sleds on the roads to the trails. Parking was good for the most part, especially with two large sled trailers. Hope to return on another trip soon.
This home is warm and welcoming. We felt like we had been here many times before.
The location is perfect as a home base for various outdoor activities. Or just a quiet weekend to unplug and enjoy family.
My wife and I are already talking about future trips to this home during different seasons.
Great woodsy cabin. Had plenty of room for our 2 families.
Everyone got their own bedroom. Liked having some bedrooms with TVs and fans and large living area with TV and dining table for card playing. Furniture alittle dated but overall cabin worked well for our weekend .
The property is so peaceful and beautiful! This is a property well loved by its owner. I think they are new to renting out their home and have a few things to update and work on. That being said, we did not lack for anything and had a good stay
We had a very enjoyable stay at Jay’s cabin in “Lakes of the North”. The beds were all very comfortable and house was very well taken care of. It has older decor wich made it feel very Nostalgic and reminded me of my childhood. Jay was very easy to communicate with before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this beautiful place in Elmira.
Great cabin for our family get-away - 6 adults and 4 kids and everyone had enough space! Check-in and communication with the host was easy, great location with a lot of things to do in the area. Highly recommend!
Cabin is perfect for our group. This was our second stay and all our guest enjoyed the cabin. Location is perfect for snowmobiling trails and side-by-side. Cabin was clean and directions are easy to follow. We really enjoyed the large open living and dining room space as a group. The rooms are private and beds are comfortable. Plenty of towels for everyone. We even enjoyed the hot tub and sauna as a bonus to our stay. Overall, the cabin is five and our host Jay, was amazing & very responsive. We will definitely stay again!
We were very impressed with how clean the property was. The layout was perfect for our group. We were close to the trail system, and to town. We would definitely stay again.
The Up North cabin was very roomy and quite nice. We enjoyed some quality family time playing games, enjoying a bon fire, and spending a day on Mackinac Island. Jay responded quickly to questions and provided us with area information.
