Had a great time staying at the cabin for one week. Saw lots of deer, went into the river everyday, walked around the community everyday. Great place to stay on vacation.

Our stay at Rapid Retreat was great! We enjoyed being right on the river – the sound of the rapids was very soothing. The hot tub was awesome and there was plenty of porch space for us to relax together. The instructions provided by the owners were very precise and helpful. We had a great time!

River Retreat

Nice property. Love to hear the river running. We saw Deer, geese, squirrels, some fish were caught. Overall we had a nice and relaxing time.

Restorative place

Brought the family here for the week. Being from Florida it was a great place to get away from the heat. Warm enough to get in the water and play in the river. It was great to enjoy nature without mosquitoes. The lightening bugs put on quite a show every night. I saw more deer in one week than I have seen in my entire life. This is truly a special place. Hope to get back soon!

Enjoying the River

we have rented cabins in several different states and this one is one of if not the best one we have rented. It is convenient to the town and shopping. We totally enjoyed our stay and are talking about renting it again

Great Getaway Cabin!

Cabin was very clean, plenty of sleeping area, huge bathrooms. It was great having the game room downstairs along with the hot tub. Outside fire pit area was easy to enjoy and the kids loved playing in the river trying to catch crawfish. Overall a great place to stay!

Wonderful getaway!

This was a wonderful true "river retreat"! Home was clean, stocked with plenty of towels, linens, and necessities, and the owners were great with communication and directions. Definitely a 5 star!!!

Wonderful cabin in the woods

We loved staying at this cabin! There was plenty of room for our group to eat and enjoy an evening around the fire. The beds are comfortable and 3 bathrooms made getting ready very easy and quick. We mostly enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the river go by and the numerous deer that came by each day. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

River vacation

We enjoyed this cabin very much. There was plenty of room, the porch was great to sit out and enjoy the sound of the river. River access was nice. We had one issue with the hot tub not heating up but I messaged the host and he responded right away with how to fix it, which worked, so we were happy. I would definitely stay here again, we love this area as well!

Time with grandparents

Place and location was perfect. Waterfront, awesome backyard with amazing river views. Deer just about everywhere you look. Loved the 2nd level deck! We spent a lot of time on the deck. Beds were very very comfortable. Having 3 full bathrooms for all 3 bedrooms was so nice!! Definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful and cozy

The cabin was gorgeous and cozy. We loved waking up to hear the river and sitting on the porch listening to the birds. As a Floridian the roads were pretty intimidating but in no way ruined our overall experience. The location was excellent close enough to pick up forgotten essentials and a reasonable distance from attractions.

Beautiful Cabin Retreat in Coossawattee

I cannot say enough things about this cabin. It is beautiful and located in one of the most peaceful areas of the Coossawattee River Community. The owners are very accomodating and kind. The communication with the them was always good, and questions were answered promptly. There is a lot of deer around for your family to enjoy! To sum up, I highly recommend this cabin. You will not be disappointed! Thank you!

Cozy river cabin

This property was perfect for our trip to Ellijay for a wedding. It was close enough to downtown but felt like a retreat next to the river. It had all of the amenities needed and we would love to come back in the warmer months to have fun in the river. No problems whatsoever.

River Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cabin. There was plenty of room for my our family of 5 (14, 15, 16 yo kids), the kitchen and baths were well stocked, house was clean, beds comfy, in a quiet and secluded place along the river. River access was a big plus as it allowed us to do some fly fishing when it wasn’t raining. The porches are amazing with fantastic mountain and river views. The owner was very communicative and pro active with sharing information. Pet friendly with easy check I /out instructions. Coosawatee river is one of our favorite spots!

Vacation

We really enjoyed the property and the surrounding area. The adults enjoyed the relaxing sound of the river while on the deck or sitting around the fire pit was very relaxing. The kids really enjoyed fishing, tubing and playing in the river. The house was very well equipped with kitchen, bed and bath supplies. Highly recommend this house me for anyone looking to stay in the ellijay/blue ridge area

Rapid Retreat beyond our expectations!

This vacation property is more beautiful and larger than how it appears online. The views from every window are gorgeous. We saw so many deer and Canadian geese. We loved the little extras offered through out the home like the Christmas trees, and board games. Best of all it was completely dog friendly. Ideal location near downtown Ellijay that is home to one of our favorite restaurants The Canterberry and many pet friendly shops!

Peace and Relaxation

A last minute vacation booked for the New Year Holiday couldn’t have been any better. The property was better then described. The property was superbly appointed. Communication with the property owner was stellar. Check in was effortless. The home is perfectly located next to a tranquil river. Getting warm around the fire pit with the family making s’mores on a cold night while sharing stories and listing to the sounds of the river are what dreams are mad of. My family and I had such a great time at this property and we are looking forward to many future stays. Thank you Mauricio for being such a responsive, knowledgeable and helpful host.
