Weekend Getaway with Friends Pt2
So after a two year break we went back to the same property for a weekend of hanging out with friends! The property has seen significant wear from our time a few years ago. Upon arrival there was no firewood and after a call with Guest services they assured us they would try to get someone out to restock but it was late on a Friday. They however did show up and took great care of us. We had a bit of an issue with the electronic door locks that Guest services also handled with us. The upstairs bedroom could use a door. The kitchens could use some extra cutlery and pots and pans. Nothing really big enough to boil pasta and stuff in. The downstairs kitchen was pretty bare. We have communicated all items of note. The place and setting is still quite beautiful and well worth the trip. Mattresses could use some replacements in a couple of rooms. Its hard to tell what has occurred within a 2 year period but its almost like a bunch of young people had a massive party in the place and put some wear and tear on it. It has great bones and hopefully the Property owners will address the items we listed. We will be back despite the issues. Its such a comfy place. I appreciated the communication from EBR Staff.

Couples trip
We had a couples trip. There was enough room for everyone. The entry to the cabin was not good, it looks like you are turning into someone's driveway. The outside of the cabin needs some care. Some updating on the furniture and hot tub was not working. Overall the stay was good but the cabin just needs a little care.

Lazy Weekend Getaway with Friends
My wife and I planned this trip with 5 other couples for a weekend of rest and catching up. The place was the perfect size and fit. remote enough to be left alone and close enough to any needed amenity. The wood fireplace kept us cozy all weekend as we took full advantage of both kitchens, the lower for storage and the upper for cooking. It is a beautiful piece of property and while there are no horses in the stables the deer did come out to let us watch them graze in the upper pasture. The Home we found out was under new ownership. Any requests were handled quickly. It is remote and internet can be spotty at times. The home temp was kept comfortable and is spacious to just stretch out. We would do this trip over again.

Exceptional Stay! Quiet and comfortable,
I was disappointed that the furniture was not what was shown in the pictures! It went from lovely antiques to a house decorated all about bears! Maybe the owners should update their pictures on the website annually or notify you of change. This is the first time in our six years of renting that this has happened; so I was a little disappointed! We have always had accurate pictures and cabin descriptions.

Enjoyable stay
Well appointed 6 bedroom cabin which is hard to find. Not mountain View but pretty view. Spotty phone service for AT&T customers but Wi- fi network worked fine. Quick 5 mile drive to Ellijay and very close to a Dollar General. Enjoyed gas grill, hot tub, pool table, ping pong, on-site shuffleboard, corn hole and darts. Kitchen well stocked but needs meat scissors for opening packages. Plenty of seating on front porch but Outdoor chairs are not very comfortable and could use better cushions. Expected there to be rocking chairs but were none. Back porch with essentially no seating. One of the downstairs queen beds slanted toward head of bed and needs to be fixed but all other beds and all linens and pillows very comfortable. Overall very enjoyable stay with just few minor glitches that could be easily remedied. Would stay again.
