It was very easy to book. We were traveling to Oregon and wasnt sure where we were going to stay. It was easy, i went online and booked a room with no hassle.
Nice quiet place to stay the night. I wish they had a coffee pot in the room. They tell you there's 24hr coffee in the lobby. Well, I don't want to get up, get dressed and go to the lobby for coffee.

Puppy friendly and people supportive!
People at check in/out were so friendly and energetic. What a nice welcome and as we left they let us know there were chain requirements at Emmigrant Gap. The hotel is very old and a bit worn, but it smelled clean and that's a good thing. Happy to have a place to stay where I could have our dog with us.

We stay at this hotel often for work. It is affordable, convenient, has a decent restaurant and bar and a pool in the summer. Rooms are always clean and well stocked. Beds are comfortable.

My 2nd time staying here with my cat on a cross-country drive. The staff are friendly and the room is spacious. It's a bit shabby (let's say down-to-earth), but clean and an incredible value for the no-fuss traveler. I felt safe and comfortable and was in walking distance of various food and a grocery store.

Needs updating. Bathroom was dirty. Not enough towels. Had to walk through smoky casino to get to restaurant. Left a Kindle e-reader in the room accidentally and was probably stolen, not turned in to the front desk. Manager promised to "look into it" and hasn't contacted us. Did not like this motel at all.

The room had no hot water. Warm water, yes, but not hot. The TV had to be tricked into working (comes on saying No Signal but if you press Guide you find it has one). One of the fixtures appeared to be making ready to fall off the wall.
OTOH, the room was spacious and the wi-fi rocked.

The rooms were dated but comfortable. The check in staff were stellar. The exterior of the building is in dire need of upkeep as is the parking lot. There is a trailer park behind the buildings and the folks coming and going use the parking lot like a regular street, speeding through. The trailer park/RV park is a part of the property. Overall, we were comfortable and appreciate the pet friendly accomodations.
