"Everything was pretty good about the stay. Staff, breakfast, all was good. However some teenage girls kind of commandeered the pool, and my air conditioner gave off a musty smell. I did not bring either to staff attention, so it is not fair of me to complain, and the stay was still good. Just noting. The weather is very hot, so I assume the pool was very busy."

"TL;DR: If you are looking for a clean, cheap, safe, and discreet place to stay while shopping or visiting, this is a great option. If you are looking for an upscale place that will impress, with a pool and stuff to entertain the kids, look elsewhere. I have stayed here many times now, as it is the least expensive safe hotel in Eau Claire. For those thinking about booking here, here's the skinny. Pros: It's clean (except for glass on outside doors), pets stay free, the staff is good, it's in a great location with lots of walkable restaurants and such, it's right across from the hospital, it has lots of parking, and the AC is fantastic. Cons: it's not the quietest (but not loud), it's a little dilapidated, the hallways tend to have a weedy aroma, and the landscaping leaves something to be desired."
