"We were in town for a tournament at In the Net and this was exactly what we needed. It was a short drive (~18 min) on beautiful scenic roads to the games. Little house on Lincoln was comfortable and peaceful when we wanted to be away from the high energy of competitive sports. Everything you could need was on site and the host was so easy to reach. The noise from trucks noted in other reviews is accurate AND we just used some while noise to drown it out a bit. It was better than slamming hotel...

"Wonderful place beautifully renovated . Loved the hot tub did not use sauna . Kitchen was well supplied for any cooking needs . We only made coffee and toast . Stairs would be tricky for some quests but we were fine . Showers were hot . Lovely place ."

"I grew up in Shamokin so I understand most of the homes are historically old and many are row houses. The host does a wonderful job of making the home feel welcoming. Loved the decor and fun layout. The bathroom is large and clean with great water pressure; that's always a bonus. ;)"

"If you’re looking for an isolated setting where nobody will bother you, this is the place for you! You basically have your own road and there is nothing but woods and cornfields as far as you can see from the house. Perfect for a relaxing trip, with civilization only about 10 minutes away. There were a LOT of dead bugs, however, including a few in our bedding. I’d double check before sleeping in the beds if you stay here. Other than that issue, I would recommend this place as a peaceful getaway!"
