"The hotel was right on the ocean. Rooms were fantastic and pool was huge and just a beautiful area. We came at the end of the tropical storm so lots of rain one night and the hotel lost power for a few hours during the day. We just hung out in the pool all day and kept cool. My only warning is that the road you takeoff off of the highway to get to the hotel is very rough. If you have a low profile vehicle you just have to drive slow and careful. It was worth the rough ride once we got there. The restaurant on site is also excellent. We ate all of our meals there. "

"Wonderful staff at the hotel and restaurant. Quaint, cozy. Lovely. The cafe was the perfect spot for morning coffee with outdoor seating. Really enjoyed the rooftop spaces- excellent view. Refreshing pool. Beds and pillows on the firm side. "

"The hotel is beautiful and the staff could not be any more attentive and helpful! They are the best! The rooms are charming and spacious with every detail thought of. While the rooms have air conditioning, the lobby and hallways do not, but that’s a minor detail. I’m not sure why it’s called a beach club because it’s in the middle of town, nowhere near the beach. The food is delicious too. I highly recommend the Guaycura and will definitely stay here again."

"We stayed a night with our 10 year old son, it was extremely peaceful, the bedding was amazingly enjoyable and spacious room, filtered water during shower, they provide clean drinking water and a coffee machine, we only needed an iron but overall I was content with how clean and updated the room was maintained. Surrounded by mango trees ! You will not be disappointed. "
