"We went to Encinitas for a family vacation, and to our surprise, it turned out to be such a wonderful place to stay. The small, enclosed pool and hot tub were excellent and created a cozy atmosphere. It felt more like a small family gathering than a typical hotel, which we really enjoyed. Parking was super convenient, with plenty of spaces available. Breakfast was great, and the location was close to everything we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay here again. The only downside was the TVs in the rooms - they’re quite basic. Since we were traveling with kids, having a more modern TV with updated features would have made relaxing in the room much more enjoyable."

"We had a lovely stay at Cardiff by the Sea for my birthday staycation. The property is very quaint but the rooms are rather large and spacious. We treated ourselves to a partial ocean view and fireplace which was fabulous. The staff is also very kind and helpful and they offer complimentary wine upon check-in and continental breakfast in the morning! Lastly, the location is simply ideal as you can easily walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach within 5 to 10 minutes. Highly recommend!"

"My partner and I were here for two nights and loved our stay. We stayed in the air room which feels light and private. We loved the breakfasts and getting to use the sauna and hot tub which are clean and easy to use. Vincent and Jade were kind and hospitable and we can’t wait to return and to share this place with our friends and family."

"Our one-night stay here was exactly the reset we needed! From check-in, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the fruity kombucha welcome drink set a great tone. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the outdoor yard access made us feel genuinely connected to nature. It was a much-needed break from digital screens and work stress ^-^ The in-room bath salt and fresh herbs turned a simple bath into a real highlight, and the licorice mint tea was so good I bought a box of the leaves from the gift shop before leaving. Breakfast came in a charming picnic basket, generous and fresh. Checkout was just as kind as check-in. This place really nails the "zen by the beach" feeling. We're already planning our next visit!"

"My son and I had a wonderful visit. The house is convenient to everything in Encinitas. We biked a lot and felt safe doing so. The house comes with beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers so it makes for an easy beach vacation. The bed is very comfortable- we slept great! Warren is responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend this VRBO and can’t wait to come back!"
