Lake views where beautiful.. had everything from kitchen to the lake anyone could ask for! Had couple questions for the host after we arrived and got back to us very quickly with the answer we were looking for! Very pleasant place to stay on dead end rd. Very peaceful place to stay! And very close to town for food/drinks or if even forgot something for the trip! I would recommend staying here to friends or family!
We enjoyed a relaxing stay with our dog and kayaking on the lake. The cabin and surrounding area were as described. It is a beautiful spot on the lake. We would also recommend a hike on the Moccasin Lake Trail which allows dogs.
We love this place! Great views. Cozy cabin. The kids love the bunk house. We stay here every summer. Great host. Great communication. Highly recommended!
Great place! Cute little cottage with a great view! Kids loved having their own bunkhouse. Very accommodating host. Would (and are already booked to) stay again next year!
The property is private and very comfortable. It offered plenty of room to be together, but space enough for a moment alone. Beautiful outdoor area and deck. The lake is friendly to swimmers with a sand/rock bottom and there are stairs into the water if jumping is not your thing.
Pet friendly! We needed a place for family to stay for a funeral in the Rhinelander area. The cabin has the basics but the separate “bunkhouse “ was great for older kids who want space or whoever wants peace and quiet. Or just a separate area. There is a backyard area with fire pit. Spacious for dogs, family and a fire. There are stairs down to the pier and lake. There is also a nice leveled platform area by the lake you can put chairs to sit while enjoying views of the water. We didn’t take advantage because we had a funeral to attend, but there’s also a huge floating pad and paddle boards in the garage to use if you want. There is also a large charcoal grill and outdoor table on the deck- and I don’t think we saw ONE mosquito! Coming from Pewaukee- which flooded about a month ago- it was a WONDERFUL difference!Kitchen was also stocked with plates, bowls, pots & pans & a new coffee maker. Our dogs LOVED the lake access and it was a great spot for our plans in Rhinelander and for us.
We had a fantastic few days. The weather was a bit cool for lake days but luckily the sun was out which made it warm enough to swimming after lunch each day. We loved the kayaks, paddle boards, and Lilly pad. My kids enjoyed fishing off the pier and caught quite a few fish. It was very quiet and peaceful and didn't even see other people until the last night we were there.
We are talking about a return trip next summer, it was just what we wanted.
Despite some uncooperative weather, the views of the lake contributed to a relaxing respite in this cozy cottage. When the weather turned, we enjoyed a kayak paddle on the lake(kayaks courtesy of the owner)and a bit of fishing right off the dock! WiFi was reliable despite the remote location and a storm passing through one evening. Got our first little peek of fall color, too.
This place is the most relaxing cabin I've stayed at in the last 15 years or more. The view of the lake and surrounding forest is exceptionally beautiful. The bed is incredibly comfortable, I slept better than I have in months. Everything about this property is first rate and I wish I had booked another week. Adam is great, easy to talk to and it was nice talking with him. Five Stars from my wife and I as well as our dog. Thanks Adam.
It was exactly what we were hoping for! Beautiful cozy house on a quiet lake. A nice break from the hustle of our daily life to just relax and reconnect as a family. We really enjoyed Kayaking and swimming. Even when it rained it was a pleasant experience looking out on the lake and reading a book. Adam was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The only issue we had was with the well water. We did bring our own drinking water, but showering and washing dishes left stains and mineral residue on everything. That being said, we had a great time and will be planning to stay again in the future. Thank you Adam for you and your family helping our family have this great experience together.
Absolutely wonderful stay! Everything was exactly as advertised. The cabin was clean and comfortable with great views and a fantastic ninja coffee maker. The host was wonderfully communicative. We especially loved the kayaks, it is such a beautiful lake.
We received a very thorough and informative message from the host ahead of time so knew exactly what to look for upon arrival. The house was stocked well with towels, blankets, toiletries, etc. (including some kitchen essentials left by previous guests like maple syrup, tea, some coffee…), and it was perfectly cozy. As mentioned by host, the house water is a little hard but we didn’t mind (I grew up with worse). My partner and I came up to ice fish all weekend and the distance to the lake is a bit more than we gathered from photos so be aware of that. It was do-able but we were more than happy to collapse in bed at the end of the days hauling things up and down. Thankfully, we left our shanty up all weekend and it remained untouched. A short drive “to town” for groceries and bait found at the Shell was perfect. Overall, the experience was very nice, quiet, cozy, and exactly what we needed! Would love to experience it in the summer as well.
The cabin is comfortable with room to spread out. We found everything we needed during our stay. The lake is beautiful with a rocky bottom nice for swimming. The bunkhouse is cozy for movies and sleeping. This was our second stay and it only improved
