"I rented the family home, it did not have a hot tub, so not every room has one, their information is misleading. It is really cold as it is on top of a mountain with no central heating, they did accomodate and provide us with space heaters. "I did not realize that I booked the smallest room with the worst location on the property. The room size was ok, bed was comfortable. The bathroom was so small there was not even room for a toilet paper holder. We were adjacent to a walkway and parking lot so the room with no air conditioning ended up being a bit noisy at night. We had access to the hot-tub and steam room which was nice and breakfast was good. The staff was friendly as everyone in Ecuador seems to be. If I did the trip again I probably would not go to Banos, the town was larger and less quaint than I expected."

"Our stay at Samari Spa Resort was truly unforgettable. The property itself is absolutely stunning—elegant, peaceful, and surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. From the moment we arrived, we could feel that this was a special place. What made our experience even more meaningful, though, was the warmth of the staff. Every single person—from reception to the restaurant—was not only professional, but genuinely kind and welcoming. They created an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and incredibly comfortable, which is not always easy to find. Traveling with young children (ages five and three), we weren’t sure what to expect at a more upscale resort, but it exceeded all expectations. Our kids had an amazing time, especially enjoying the chocolate massage and the pool area. It meant so much to us to see them so happy and included. Between the beautiful setting, the thoughtful details, and the heartfelt hospitality, we created memories we will cherish for a long time. We still find ourselves talking about how warm and special our experience was. We can’t recommend this place enough."
