Adorable house with a nice view of the mountains. Very convenient to both the town of Taos and the ski valley. The host was easy to reach when we had questions.
The neighborhood is very much typical for Taos, we were local for a long time and I didn't find it concerning like some other reviewers have. It's pretty normal to have dirt roads, neighbors with cars in the yard etc.
I would totally stay here again!
We had a great time staying here! The property has gorgeous views of the mountains. The house is close to lots of restaurants and only a few minutes from downtown Taos and less than a thirty minute drive from Taos Ski Valley. Noah was extremely responsive and even had the internet completely replaced within a few hours of us reporting an outage. Highly recommend booking this place!
Awesome property manager. Super responsive with questions. The neighborhood caught us by surprise as gravel road/driveway appeared to dead end with abandoned houses/vehicles/odd fencing and was a bit confusing/sketchy as was not lit during the nighttime. The home and interior were plenty spacious (huge bathroom) especially for a family of five, had all necessary bathroom, laundry and kitchen supplies. The family was very appreciative of the security system. This was our 8th vacation to Taos area.
Quite comfortable with very well appointed kitchen; cooking was easy and enjoyable. Larger beds were very comfortable. Didn't try the bunk bed. Lighting was a bit dim and heating by electric space heaters was adequate. Great shower and good hot water. There are a few spots of imperfect renovation repairs not affecting any functionality. Furniture ok to fine, not great. Really good mountain view from the master bedroom surprisingly very little affected by warehouse on adjoining property. Owner responsive to a few minor issues that came up during my 10 day stay. Overall a very good experience.
If you're not from New Mexico, the neighborhood is typical for Taos outskirts. It's may look a bit run down to those not used to it, but it is very normal for northern New Mexico and felt perfectly safe to me and my family (partner and daughters).
