Kitchen was well equipped and very clean. We had fun playing billiards in the game room. Nice location, very scenic and host was friendly and helpful. We would stay there again and also recommend it.

Me & my 2 sisters Niece and a friend had my birthday weekend at Ojo Caliente and needed a place to stay. I found this place for a reasonable price and good location. Saw the pictures & loved it! The home was very clean & beautiful & perfect for what we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Melissa was very prompt for returning any questions i had. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. We really enjoyed our stay here for the weekend. Thank you Melissa for making our stay feel welcomed

Great stay

We loved the house. It was very cozy. The architecture and style are consistent with the Taos atmosphere. It is in a great location, and it is a quick zip into town for groceries.

Great home!!

We enjoyed our stay over Presidents Day weekend. The home had ample space, well stocked with all the amenities and the owners were highly responsive. We will definitely book again!!

Perfect stay

The house was warm and comfortable and the provided amenities were above and beyond what we usually find at a rental. We very much enjoyed the game room. Would highly recommend this property to any small group looking for a nice place to stay near Taos.

Family Christmas ski trip

The pictures online don't do this house justice! It's beyond magical, charming and just beautiful. I was beyond impressed, like a spa retreat. I wished we were staying in Taos longer.

Quiet and beautiful

Our house was perfect for our stay. A lovely backyard, two roomy living areas, a nice kitchen area and great bedrooms/bath. We were close to Taos and the ski valley but in our own quiet setting. The house was very comfortable. The owner was very responsive to any questions.

Vacation to Taos

Wonderful home. Great location. The house is close enough to get to town and restaurants quickly, but far enough away from hustle and bustle of town. Very clean, wonderful yard with beautiful views!

Perfect Location

We stayed here for a quick getaway to ski and explore the Taos area. The location, house, etc was perfect for what we were looking for. House was in great shape, had a nice backyard, fun game room, open floor plan, and the bedrooms were extremely comfortable. Our host Melissa was responsive and helpful… We will definitely be back.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay

Loved this home. Most everything you need! Clean and cozy, good mattresses , well stocked . Beautiful sun sets , would love to come in the summer and sit outside. Thank you ! Our family lives just a mile or two away on the reservation. One of the magazines in this home featured the top 8 women in toss. My niece was in this magazine. Bonus!!

Very beautiful and cozy house for family out

The house is clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It is not far from Taos and is located in a quite place where you can enjoy magnificent sunset from the back yard and moon rise from front yard. Backyard is full of plants and you can expect lovely visitors like birds and rabbits. A very pleasant stay!

A week in Taos

The pics really didn’t do it justice and I rarely get to say that. The house was perfect as a place to explore Taos and the surrounding area. The bed was great and everything we needed was provided. A real bonus was the backyard where we watched blue birds and several other species stop by and it was a great place to enjoy sunsets.

Extremely nice!!!

My granddaughters want to move in, so we left them there. They require little food and water!! Ha ha ha. We ALL loved this house. We appreciated our guest gifts... very nice and classy touch! This house was super clean and nicely decorated! Looks JUST like pics, but cozy in person. We'd return 100% and would recommend to anyone else. Made for a lively family vacation. Thank YOU!!

Beautiful property; excellent stay

This property was hands down the best stay I've ever had when traveling on vacation. The home was extremely cozy and beautiful inside and out. The home had everything you could want to enjoy your stay and was very spacious for our family of 5.(Soon to be 6) There was always something to do while we were here and the kids had a blast with all of the games that were provided. Surprisingly, the property had excellent cell phone coverage and even if it didn't, the wifi was actually very fast. The heater worked very well even with the 13 degree outside temperatures. These guys are pros and I would book again with them in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for providing a home for us to stay in that will leave great memories for many years to come!

A welcome respite from the Texas heat

We were looking for a break from the constant Texas heat so we headed to New Mexico. It was hot in Taos but we put the fans and portable air conditioners to work and it was doable. The property was clean and very quiet, and the bed and pillows were very comfy. We saw a coyote near the house the evening we arrived, and enjoyed watching the sunsets from the beautiful back yard. Don't miss Taos Cow ice cream if you visit.

Sisters Trip

House was adorable and extremely clean. Pretty much out in the country but just a very short drive to everything. The only issue as mentioned in previous reviews is that the house is listed as air conditioned but it was not. There were plenty of fans which kept us comfortable in the 85 degree weather. We had a great stay! House is very well equipped .

Great place “off the beaten path”

Great location, quiet and close to the ski valley and town. Home is equipped with all the necessities for a nice stay. The beds and bedding are very good quality and very comfortable. The layout of the home works well for 6 ppl with plenty of room for everyone to have space to relax. If we come back to Taos to ski we will stay here again. Warm and cozy. If bringing food to cook don't forget oil or butter. lol

A Taos Gem

We could not have been more pleased with Casa Turquesa. While there was plenty of charm, the house was tastefully updated with all modern conveniences and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Cleanliness was 10/10. Beds were comfortable, towels were fluffy, linens were lovely, and appliances were all new and a pleasure to use. The backyard was beautifully landscaped with some beautiful views, a grill and a easy to use fire pit. We especially enjoyed the lower level pool table room at night. The location in El Prado was perfect for us--easy access to the golf course, downtown and the area's best restaurants. While it was not at all a problem for us, the house is not in any kind of neighborhood; it sits alone next to a landscaping stone business with some unsightly piles However, there was not much activity and it was not noisy, so we did not find it an issue. There are houses down the road but it is relatively isolated on that part of the road. We were there during a particularly hot 2 weeks and while we were expecting portable air conditioners based on the listing, the tower fans kept us comfortable, especially at night with the outside cooler air. Communication with the owners was outstanding and we appreciated the bottle of wine and the welcome note. We would not hesitate to return to this comfortable, charming and welcoming home on our next Taos visit.
