El Molinito Holidays from AU$1,280

I stayed for 2 nights. There was already a line of people trying to get assisted when I got there and only one person to help out, luckily I was 2nd in line so I didn’t take long. I arrived at 1:30pm and check in wasn’t until 3pm but luckily they let me check in early. I didn’t see any bed bugs nor roaches and I inspected the room WELL after reading the reviews. Everything was really clean except for a towel that had nasty brown stains on them. The TV was very outdated and no AC but luckily it was cold at night so we didn’t need it. The showers had really hot water so no complaints there. Now the beds, the beds are SO hard and uncomfortable- mind you I’m not picky at all either hotels but I couldn’t get any nights rest either how hard the bed was. The neighborhood felt safe, we walked around a lot and didn’t encounter any problems. The WiFi was great and fast. We were provided shampoo and soap but no irons or blow dryer, you had to get that from the lobby. They did review my room before I could leave and I didn’t mind it as this avoids getting charges later on that are harder to dispute than actually being there to plead your case. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again just because of how uncomfortable the beds are. Aside from that I had a really good experience

All around great

Overall, we enjoyed the common areas but the room comfort and service didn’t meet our expectations. The staff was very friendly, although room service requests were a little slow. For the price we paid, we didn’t feel it was worth the cost. The beds are advertised as king-sized but were slightly oversized queens and the pillows were extremely flat, providing no head support. The bathroom fan could not be turned off, and was disruptive at night, the toilet didn’t flush well, and a large concrete pillar took up quite a bit of room space. The pool area is very small, with only three non-adjustable lounge chairs in the pool. There were also no towels available, and despite asking twice, none were brought out. Though, the gym had lots of equipment, was clean and well maintained. And the “Wooftop” bar was a fun space to hangout and meet other guests. It had TVs, a pool table, air hockey, and other games. They also had great selection of craft beers.
