"A really good hostel just outside the main city of Bergen but a short walk away to bus transport and also a small Bunnpris shop for food items, etc. Was perfect for my weekend in the area, especially with even being close to the Ulriken mountain tram/path to the summit - staff were helpful with check in/out, plus the shared female dorm room I stayed in was comfortable and with a good toilet/shower room and bunkbeds. And of course the free breakfast was perfect to have too in starting my day and also shared kitchen with fridges to store food, etc!"

"Please note if booking through a 3rd party, like Expedia, the pool is not included. This was not clear in the description as it states swimming pool available. Was the main reason we booked. Still outstanding complaint with Expedia which has gone unresolved for several days since making the claim. Hotel understands but did not compromise as it was Expedia’s issue. Ball still in your court Expedia customer services."

"The house that Sue provides guarantees a successful holiday. It is very functional. Every thing you take out of your suitcase, finds its convenient place in wardrobes, cupboards, on shelves, in drawers, on hangers, etc. The living room and terrace really gives you plenty of space to relax. The super-equipped kitchen gives you a lot of independence in meal planning. Sue, the owner of the flat, is an exceptionally friendly person. She gave us a quick answer to every question. Very close to the house the ferry connection towards Bergen. I would recommend this place without hesitation."

"Die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig. Man kann an verschiedenen Stellen an den Fjord und man kann schöne Ausflüge machen. Wir waren im Seefahrtsmuseum in Norheimsund, was sehr schön war. Eine sehr schöne Wanderung führt auf die Berge Vesoldo und Torviknuten.Das Haus ist gemütlich, geräumig und komfortabel."

"Nicer than the pictures—we only got to stay one night, but we would return when we travel through Bergen again. A plus that it had an elevator instead of having to get our luggage up the stairs. We cooked in the kitchen and found that we had what we needed to get the meals together. We also were able to do a load of laundry, a plus. They view was wonderful, and the owner has plants on the balcony which made it feel cozy. For us, having some space to spread out versus just a hotel room is a huge advantage. The bathroom is spacious. Location is quiet. "

"My family and I (13 years old to 82 years old) had a fantastic holiday here. This is the best VRBO I have stayed in. The host provided everything you might need or think of - her information packet is better than most tourist books you will find! She was also incredibly responsive to questions. The location is simply beautiful and the area offers many things to see and do. I could say so many other things but will end with this - if you want to see Norway, then this is the place to go."
