We stayed 1 night and had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was good. The staff helped with laundry. We gave them 2 loads and they had it washed and dried by morning the next day.

Dårlig opplevelse
Vi hadde sett frem til en avslappende helg borte for å feire en bursdag. Når vi kom ble vi møtt av stilas som strakte seg nesten rundt hele hotellet. Til tross for at vi hadde vært i kontakt flere ganger før ankomst, ble vi ikke informert om pågående renoverings arbeid. Dette var skuffende, spesielt da vi hadde forventet en hyggelig opplevelse. Rommet hadde en ubehagelig gammel lukt, spesielt fra skapet. Vinduene var umulig å åpne. Ingen kjøleskap. Det var så å si ikke varmtvann i vasken. Dusjen hadde heldigvis tilstrekkelig. Pågående oppussingsarbeid ved resepsjonen skapte mye bråk og støy, og den dårlige lydisolasjonen på rommet generelt gjorde oppholdet forstyrrende. Det som var positivt var tilgang til «badehuset», men også der var der rom for forbedringer. For eksempel var skyvedøren ut til jacuzzien så treg vi nesten ga opp. Ved utsjekking opplevde vi at resepsjonisten ikke var særlig imøtekommende eller profesjonell, og hennes manglende vilje til å håndtere våre klager og behov var skuffende. Når vi spurte om det ikke var noe hun kunne gjøre, sa hun kort: nei. Alt i alt var oppholdet på Nordfjord Hotell en skuffelse. Hotellets mangel på kommunikasjon, informasjon, mangelfulle fasiliteter og dårlig service gjorde opplevelsen svært frustrerende. Jeg vil ikke anbefale dette hotellet til andre.
