Frankenglück Vacation Home - Holz vor der Hütt'n Apartment

This beautiful holiday home is located on a south-facing slope in Affalterthal, a district of Egloffstein. Affalterthal is a quiet place, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, nestled among cherry orchards, meadows, and forests. Cherry lovers will be thrilled by the annual cherry festival.

The holiday home can be divided into two separate apartments. Both apartments are fully equipped and can be occupied separately. They each feature a living, dining, and kitchen area; a bedroom; a bathroom with shower and toilet; a balcony or terrace; and a separate exterior entrance.

Families or groups can also rent the entire house, as the apartments are connected via the stairwell. The “Holz vor der Hütt’n” apartment has a rustic style to match the wooden house. The “Wiesengeflüster” apartment has been newly renovated and features modern amenities, from the flooring to the electrical systems, as well as a new bathroom.

A newly installed wallbox is located at the property.


We’ve built a beautiful outdoor sauna on the property. Inside, it features two benches, each measuring approximately 2 m x 0.5 m, and a powerful electric heater. In the sauna’s entrance area, there’s a wooden bench for sitting and a small coat rack for your dressing gown.
A covered outdoor shower, lounge chairs, and a selection of sauna infusion scents are included.
Enjoy a relaxing 3-hour sauna session for 15 euros (payable on site). Please bring your own sauna towels and dressing gown.

“Holz vor der Hütt’n” Apartment:

The holiday apartment is located on the upper floor with a separate entrance at the back of the house.

It features a separate bedroom with a double bed (1.8 x 2 m). In the open-concept living-dining area, two additional people can sleep on the comfortable pull-out sofa set (1.4 x 2 m).

Space is available for a baby cot or travel cot, but you’ll need to bring your own. There’s also a lovely dining area and a well-equipped built-in kitchen. The flat-screen TV and a collection of games provide entertainment. On cold (winter) evenings, firewood is available in front of the cabin for a cosy fire in the wood-burning stove. Wi-Fi is available free of charge.
The balcony with a covered seating area is perfect for dining together and relaxing. Parking for your car is available on the property. Bed linens and towels are, of course, provided. Smoking is permitted only on the balcony or in the garden.
Bicycles can be stored in the garage.



Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and check-out from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
