"The hotel, spa and restaurant were great. The only complaint was the standard of the room, which really could do with a revamp (especially for 300 euro a night). "Very quiet hotel in the middle of nowhere. It was a really charming experience with lovely staff. The summer restaurant had a small menu snd the food was quite nice and wine was available. It was about 20 minute walk to the waterfront so don't expect a jetty on the property. The room was very comfortable. There was a gorgeous church nearby but that was it as far as public amenities in the area. If you like quiet, this is your place to go."

"The hotel itself only has 13 rooms, I think. The breakfast is pretty good, the staff are friendly and helpful. The front desk is only staffed a couple of hours during the day, so make sure you get the code to enter the hotel. I had just missed the summer 'peak', so there were only 2 restaurants open within easy walking distance. I only went to the Montecristo Restaurant. The food was good and the staff very friendly. My Visa card wouldn't work when I went to pay, so we worked it out in US dollars. Public transportation is limited and confusing, especially if you don't speak Swedish. But the Troll Hike was a LOT of fun. And I enjoyed the peace and quiet for a couple of days."
