Relax on Huge Porch Overlooking Marsh- Short Walk to Beach

Edisto Island is a relaxing paradise. This Marshfront home has outstanding views with sunsets that are breathtaking. An extra large screened porch allows for rocking to the beautiful marsh view, or outdoor dining . The porch also has a dinner table that helps you enjoy the sunset or enjoy your morning coffee with the abundance of nature.

Our favorite part is the rustle of the big Palmetto Tree next to the porch that lulls you. Located on the right side of the duplex, with the bike path right out front. Only a short block to the ocean beach.

In the winter, we have a beautiful gas fireplace to let you feel cozy.

Plenty of room to bring your boat to park while staying.

Internet Service, No Smoking, No Pets.

There is a service for linens and towels on the island, Edisto Essentials: https://edistoessentials.com/products. You will need to contact them for pricing. If you choose, we do supply linens so you don't need to bring your own, but please make sure to give yourself time to wash and replace the linens we provide you or bring your own. We have a listing of the bed sizes on our property page for reference.

Great place on the marsh

This was our second spring break staying here and we loved it both times. The house is so nice and quiet and the view from the screened in porch is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend

Love the porch!

La Marsh Inn

This has been my 7th stay at LaMarsh Inn I have been going twice a year since 2022 it’s a quaint little charm brings me back and the owners are very quick to respond. You can drive down to the point for a beautiful sunset or walk to the sound end of the beach is about a block and a half. In the fall the pistol shrimp are a joy to hear from the marsh. Amazing view and location!

This place couldn’t have been better for our short stay at Edisto. Very clean and had pretty much everything we need. There’s alot of privacy on the porch with the perfect seating arrangement. The beach is a short walk or an even shorter drive to the beach access. We will definitely be back for La Marsh Inn!

The duplex was very comfortable and clean. Accommodated 6 adults very well in the living and kitchen areas. Screened in porch was a great place to watch wildlife that was roaming in the marsh. Very relaxing stay. Would stay here again.

Quiet stay

The house was just as described and has just as gorgeous sunsets on marsh as others described. Just minutes to beach access and all things Edisto. Perfect for our friend long weekend wrapping up summer.

Relaxing Break

We enjoyed waking up to the wild life and views of the screened in porch and watching the sunsets from there in the evening. The house was clean, comfortable and a great place to stay. Looking forward to coming back as well as sharing with everyone we know.

Home away from home

This has been my 5th stay at this property feels like away from home. Jo Lane is great to work with and very kind. The home is peaceful and quiet if your looking for nothing but peacefulness no worries and just relaxing this place and Edisto is it. Very limited restaurants at certain times is limited be sure and get groceries at The Food Lion. Love La Marsh Inn

Piece of heaven

I have been going to Edisto Beach since I was born 45 years ago. This was the first time I stayed on the marsh side and this was the perfect house. The back screened in porch is the best part of the house. It fit our family perfectly and we would definitely stay here again!

Condo with a view

The beach is a very short walk, or drive, away, and the marsh view is terrific. There are several good restaurants nearby, and we enjoyed the Botany Bay Preserve and the Edisto Beach State Park. The condo is well equipped. Washing and drying our sheets went quickly and smoothly on our departure morning. It helped that we brought our own towels.

Love Edisto

This was my second time staying at the home it is quaint and charming this year i didnt give a 5 star because they really need a new housekeeper as i had mentioned to my prior visit but this time hair was all in the tub and floors sandy. More pillow cases would be nice for the master bedroom unless you take your own but with 1300 plus for 5 nights i would think all of this would be includedand not a issue i dont even mind that you have to wash the sheets before you leave because i pack enough certainly do not want to pack linens. Just needs a really good deep cleaning at least where you do not see mounds of dust or other peoples hair, I really like this place and hate to be truthful in my review but it what it is and basically any place on Jungle Rd or above it is a great location.

I can’t say enough about communication they respond quickly and work with you . Simply The Best! The home is small and charming you could easily stay at a bigger home but this is my 8th stay here and it feels like going home. The sunset view from the deck is beautiful it’s a short walk to the beach and the marsh is on the backside of the home to me the best of both.
