This cozy home sleeps up to 5 guests, making it perfect for a small family or group getaway. Upstairs in the open loft, you’ll find a queen bed, a twin bed, and a TV with satellite service. The downstairs bedroom features a queen bed and a TV with satellite. The living area includes a couch, loveseat, cozy fireplace, and a TV with satellite and DVD player, providing a comfortable space to relax. The full-size kitchen comes equipped with basic cooking utensils, making meal preparation easy during your stay. The bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub and a shower and is supplied with towels and basic toiletries for your convenience.

The Space:

We are surrounded by the beautiful Patoka Lake, offering the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. While the lake is not visible directly from the cabins, we do have walking paths that will take you right to the water. There are also nearby boat ramps, making it easy to get out and enjoy a day on the lake. Whether you’re boating, fishing, or simply taking in the scenery, the lake is just minutes away!

Perfect getaway

We arrived past check in, and they were very nice and allowed us to check in late. The cabin was the perfect size and perfect little getaway for the weekend. We would’ve added an extra day if we could have because we were enjoying it so much!

Property was well maintained and provided all that was needed for a short weekend get away. Proximity to Patoka Lake was perfect. We arrived after check in, and were not familiar with property and had a hard time locating cabin, so would recommend consulting map ahead of time.

It was nice. Roads were a little narrow and the cabin was right next to the highway so some of the traffic was a little loud. But other than that it was a good experience.

Overall I think I would stay here again. Everyting was perfect! I would say, the pics need updated as it didn't look quite as outdated as some of the pictures show. I was surpised to have dishes and everything needed to cook with. That was super nice. We did not have a single complaint about the place the whole time we stayed

Good cabin, vrbo amenities need updating

Cabin was clean, nice area, a little too busy for us, we prefer seclusion, this is more like a neighborhood of cabins, everybody was on top of each other. Online amenities were accurate for the most part but they included a hot tub on the VRBO amenities list, and there wasn't one, just a jacuzzi. This was a major letdown as that's typically the highlight of our stays.

Fall Break hiking

We loved our stay in Cabin 8. We were within 30 minutes of the trails we wanted to hike. There was plenty of room for our family of four. We just had to bring our clothes and food. Fully stocked kitchen with utensils, pots and pans and dishes. I would recommend providing a fire starting kit in the cabin for the fire pit. The manager at the office let us borrow a lighter and matches. Thank you!

the cabin is roomy and just a few minutes away from the lake. One thing that could greatly improve the facility is at least one shelf to hold any groceries. The kitchen is well equipped but has no room for groceries except for the counter next to sink.

Family weekend getaway

We had a quick getaway for my son's 4th birthday. He wanted to stay in a cabin and my wife and I wanted to surprise him with a wow. This cabin met all of that! Amazing cabin, beautiful furnishings, and when he saw the "mini pool" in the bathroom (jacuzzi tub) he lost his mind! We can't wait to come back and stay again!
