The hotel is ideally situated diagonally across the road from the impressive basilica, 30metres from bus station and also 30metres from the (helpful) Tourist Office. It’s a little far from the Festspielhaus (if you’re there for the Wagner festival), but they run a complementary shuttle to and from the operas, along with a complementary reception (with prosecco and snacks) right beforehand, which was a nice touch. "The room was so clean and comfortable! It was warm but the front desk allowed us to borrow fans. It was very spacious. Breakfast was a really great spread. The hotel is very close to town, no more than a 15 minute walk. The only problem I had was I had to have cash to get water and didn’t bring any so I had to run to the store to get water with my card. But other than that it was perfect. It was very accommodating for our dog as well!"
