I was early in Istanbul and staying elsewhere so when I booked this location, I went there to check out the room before my cancellation date and I was told the room type had booked was full and I could not see any room. In my 30 years of travel no hotel has ever given me this excuse. If I had seen the room and the amenities and size of the room for what I was paying for, (and let me emphasize what I was paying for the room) I would have cancelled it. I think the location is close to main attractions and breakfast was good. But definitely not in the class of $450 hotels.

We were given a very large room near the rear of the building, so well away from street noise. The linen was very nice and bed comfortable. Shower hot and strong. A buffet breakfast had something for every taste. Other guests were inconsiderate with noise and manners, but that is not the hotels fault.
